I clearly dont agree with alot of people on here with this, but im fed up of all the moaning about our transfer policy. Paddy FAILED a drugs test, all he had to do was ring the club doctor "doc can i take this?" "No Paddy you cant, its against regulations". "Ok doc, no worries" - Pathetic. Naysmith was out most of last season, on massive wages, and he's left for a lower league. If they dont want to stay, theres nothing we can do, and as far as im concerned, if they dont want to be here then good bloody riddance. Alot of people feel that we have been let down by these players or that the clubs wage/contract policy has hampered the fact they are no longer here, but if they dont want to stay theres nothing we can do, agent/player power is the dominant force in the game. GET OVER IT. Were not going to be favourites for promotion but we will always give it a good go, and id gladly be part of that. All this talk about the money from transfers (kyles, killa...etc) is pointless, we spent 2mil on loans last year, over 10-13mil on wages - thats where the money went! lets get behind them for a change, i love the fact we have a forum, and its great we can all share our opinions but we are so downhearted its unbelievable. We were average at best last year and we finished 8th, i know blackwells not everyones favourite but with hindsight i cant fully knock the job he did last year with the problems we had, he, like most managers made some bad calls but when hasnt one of our managers? I know its not great at the moment, but at the end of the day, its our club and it always will be, irrespective of who owns, manages, or runs the club I love united and i am as proud now as i was from day 1, lets keep the faith and get behind them for once.

The 'clapper' bandwagon is rolling..!

Here's to a further outbreak of sense, although starting threads at 3.39am does come with its own dangers...

Here, here.
We are a well-run, prudent club.
It's not as if we've had £40m from parachute payments and Tevez, ended up £50m in debt and have no players.
Just get behind the lads.

Yes get a good spirit , with few team changes , we will walk this leauge . With Morgans leadership ,Monty and Quinns workrate , And a Forward line that will get 60 goals at least , things are looking good ,

£10 million on Wages, and you cant knock the job he did last season ?

Any chance explaining to me and the other 1,200 that went to Peterboro, just how a bunch of players on £10 million in Wages managed to lose to a bunch of no hopers ?

I think Man City with a rather larger wage bill still managed to lose to some established underachievers, it's what gives us average clubs hope. Money and talent don't provide a guarantee, that's what allows teams like Leeds to beat Man U. I still think we are odds on to take 6 pts off Leeds, but who knows, it's the unpredictability in this league that can let Blackpool and Hull make it through. But moan about your club not having bought a brand new top team of talent seems to be the standard across a few boards. Fortunately, most fans are clappers, which I always take that as a compliment cause it underlines I support my club. But neither do I entertain myself by trying to be an amateur wind-up artist in the name of 'stimulating' debate. I am what I am, a fan, and will always be a supporter - I look for or hope for the good in my team and club. Clap on brothers and sisters. Hope to see you again this year. UTB!!

"I still think we are odds on to take 6 pts off Leeds..."
There'll doubtless be a fair few deluded comments during our second successive car crash of a close season, but that's likely to be right up there.

Hear hear, count me in.

Most of the people I know no longer post on this board because the vocal minority that really do believe they represent the silent majority spout so much continual sh*te on here, but as we all know it's the "empty vessels that make the most noise"

So come on, clappers of the world unite and let's reclaim our club for the supporters!!!

UTB
