.......and dreams of Playing for Kilmarnock. Had me in stitches.

Neill Collins: I won't let Sheffield United relegation get me down - I've won promotion three times Jun 12 2011 Gordon Waddell, Sunday Mail

They say class is permanent - Collins is surely the exception that disproves the rule.

On his dream of playing for Kilmarnock - I wish they could offer him a job now.

I suppose he could declare himself an independent nation and apply to FIFA for membership.

He's already recognised as being absolute shite in all of the Home Nations, isn't that international enough for him?

Now that is absolute comedy gold. I wonder if he managed to keep a straight face? This bit had me in stitches;

""I sometimes think if I'd played in the SPL before coming down to England I would have enjoyed more international recognition"..

.....as though shear lack of ability is playing no part in the process. Great stuff.

:D

I thought I could have gone to Bramall Lane and made a positive impact. It didn't work out for a number of reasons.

Let me help you out there, Neill.

Reason 1: You're really not very good.
Reason 2: Neither are your team mates.

QED.

I'd have worded it slightly differently;

1. Your team mates aren't very good.
2. Your team mates are much better than you.

Ive worded it better:

1. You are fcuking shite
2. You weren't even good enough for the relegated Blades, let alone be anywhere near an international side

Think he needs to sort his priorities out, but it seems he's trying to pull a killa and get himself recognised for a move to anywhere

Speaking as a Sheffield United and Hearts fan the sooner Collins moves to Kilmarnock the better.

As far as his chances of playing for Scotland go...... if Collins stands a chance, I might find a veterans team to play for as it may not be too late to get a national call-up

The article also fails to mention that the arrival of Collins, rather than failing to stem the tide, was pretty much the start of it!

I don't know what drugs he is on but I want some.

Perhaps he should pack in football and try stand up comedy.

hes already recieved 84 caps and scored 34 goals including the one which helped Scotland finally reach the World Cuo last 16 draw, pity he forgot to save it on his playstation

fingers crossed he is trying to engineer a move away. Be a help for us all. I wonder how many fans Wilson would win over if the first person he sends packing is Collins?

If he still wants international recognition how about this:

Dear Neil
We recognise you're not fit to wear the Blades shirt

Thanks to all posters, you've messed things up.

Instead of blurting out the truth you lot should have said to a man that he's right and how suprised we all are that he hasn't been called up.

Would have Kilmarnock all over us like a rash and we'd have got shut.

All well.

Oh yeah disregard my post.

Anyone reading this thread Collins is top class and should be called up more often.

I wonder how quickly we will sell if Kilmarnock come calling. :)

If McCabe dares to sell Collins , I will protest in the car park and burn my season ticket :)

Got promoted the last time he was in this division, alongside a certain Mr Doyle :)

Yes the le eds fans are pissing themselves that we have those two non footballers. And we paid for collins, was it buy collins and get a free doyle back from coventry?

Nobody takes any notice of forums do they?
Maybe Randy Lerner does but it's clear McCabe doesn't.

Anyone believe that Collins will be first choice CB this new season.
Fecking chilling prospect that is unless we are playing the Madame Tussauds XI every week.

I think we are stuck with the donkey for at least the next two years.
He will probably play something like 60 games or so in league 1 for us by then :-(

I'm sorry for dredging this thread up, but i've got a day off work, and nowt better to do, and thought it would make interesting reading.

It's not a dig at anyone in particular, but i think it shows what a difference in Neill Collins that we have seen, and that can only be for the best.

On his showings last season, he was right up there with the shittest defenders i've seen in my days watching United, and believe you me, there has been a few, but the difference is there for all to see. Long may it continue

Dear Neil,

Thanks for being better than you were, in fact you are our rock.

Sorry for any bad things i've said about you in the past (maybe not on this thread)

You are my actual player of the season

Well done, thats two lots of humble pie in a week!
