Collins approach to Long was a disgrace

I couldn't disagree more.

Howard was beaten by a couple of wonder goals and maybe and only maybe one really powerful strike from distance that he could have stopped, though it seemed to swerve like a party balloon to me.

We have a good keeper in Howard but he too is a confidence player.

There is just no comparison between Howard and Long. Howard isn't the best, as we saw at the end of last season. He was very good before that.

Long is just not good enough. Now, before, ever.

Putting Howard on the net is a huge step forward from Long. Whether we need to make another one is a moot point.

Did Adkins explain in his interview why he went for Long over Howard. I wonder if Howard had a niggle.

Agree with this completely. Long is such a confidence player and it didn't feel warranted after five minutes in. Collins should know better.

Sorry but Long shouldn't be a goalkeeper if he's that fragile. But Collins was out of order.
