Coady, Collins or Doyle

I would go for Coady as MOM - but Doyle was excellent too. Collins was solid again. So was Howard - didn't have a shot to save but faultless handling & positioning - particularly from their many corners (their only threat). Great goals and deserved win.

All 4 were a 9 out of ten. Wonder when Scotlands manager will start looking at us , all 5 must be pressing for the squad on the form they are in.

Coady just edged M of M for me tonight, worked his little scouse socks off - Not to detract from Collins or Doyle though, they came very close. Big up to young Kennedy too, seemed to be in the right place at the right time with some well timed tackles, and Im probably going to get a visit from the cliche police here, but he IS still learning his trade (Ouch)

So many good performances but those were the 3 outstanding ones for me as well.

Marginally, I would give it to Coady. It's another triumph for Clough. Another player he has persuaded to take opponents on as an attacking threat. He's become increasingly important to the side and hopefully a key player on Sunday as well.

Agree with the sentiments on this thread already, but it has to be Coady for me. As good a game as I've seen him have for us.

Fantastic from all three. I'v been one of Doyle's bigger critics (mostly about his captaincy rather than his overall play) but he's been magnificent since his ban.

Coady gets MOTM for me though. How does he find the energy? Tearing through on the counter for Porter's goal when he's been playing twice a week for a month! Incredible stuff.

Coady's a class act and has the potential to develop even further, few people saying to not get too carried away with his form as he's only a young lad but he oozes class.

Some of his touches are Premiership quality - the flick up and volley to Miller first half, the run and lay off into Porter's path for the goal, the cheeky nutmeg and dribble infront of the John St stand in the closing minutes.
I hope we can keep hold of him even if it means another season long loan next season, presuming Liverpool extend his contract?! If not then surely he must see he is loved here & he's mentioned many times he loves playing here. Be a big coup to get him to put pen to paper to sign permanently at BDTBL.
He has the potential to drive us to the next level if he keeps developing how he is doing.

Collins & Doyle were both superb last night, both have had their critics but it just shows playing in a confident side works wonders

I think Collins for me as he won everything. The midfield 3 of Doyle, Coady and Scougall works so well because it allows Doyle to do what he is good at.

First thing we need to do this summer is beg Liverpool for one more season from Coady.

what on earth is going on?? :D
