is it just me or has the club shop decided it wants to cater for the (date i whisper it...) normal Blade.. I saw some cuff links, a record tote bag and even a Blades bow tie. Superb. Ok it was blended in with a Billy Sharp bedspread and the usual Chav baby grow ensemble... but does the club now realise that not everyone wants some nylon / man made nonsense.

And the best thing on offer that I'm now looking at through Abbeydale Moonshine tinted glasses is the Xmas snow shaker thing that has Duffy's run across pig pitch celebration one side and BRooksys nutmeg on the other. Total class and all mixed in with a shake of the snow. No, lads not that kind of snow...

There is even a choice of red or black in the bow tie, with a subtle small cross swords on the left side ( looking out from your body). Sadly it's not a tie your own being a pre prepared model and is of course not silk, it nonetheless is a bow tie!

The snowshaker is however the Xmas gift of choice. Hours of snowy fun whilst looking at Brooksy's nutmeg and on offer at only 3 quid. Shame it doesn't light up but im sure I can rig something up to have a glowing tribute on the Xmas day table. We have no pigs in our family so may have to take it out and have it grace various ale houses whilst I'm home.
