looks like the close season will last about 7 weeks.
No open top bus tour and I wouldn’t choose to have a trip to anywhere in USA right now. Overseas holidays need planning, especially if you end up in quarantine on return to UK.
The married lads will have to listen to wives complaining about a staycation this year, due to Covid, and the single lads will want to be off doing something dangerous, that they’ve already been warned not to do. That will be McBurnie skydiving and Osborn getting a new kindle.
Maybe Berge will get invited to Ireland by his new bestie, John Egan.A pub tour must be on the cards, followed by Gaelic football and fishing.
I can see Enda and George playing air hockey against Fleck and Ollie.
Lunny and Moose crying in each other’s beer. Sharp wagging his finger at them, and saying “I told ya so”.

Cameras banned from end of season piss up, and the married lads sent back early from holiday., because the wife’s seen more of him this year than since they first met.

Read on the Athletic today that it would be 7 weeks from end of PL season, so around September 12th. Obviously not confirmed yet but that's what they're reporting.

The Premier League campaign was due to end on May 17 and the 2020-21 season was originally scheduled to begin on August 8. A July 26 finish and probable September 12 restart caused by coronavirus will condense the break from 12 weeks to seven.

In reality, it will be less than that for elite clubs. Manchester United and Wolves are involved in the last 16 of the Europa League, which resumes in Germany on August 5, with the final in Cologne on August 21.
