Maybe going to step up interest in Murf now possibly there best wingers jumped ship? Soon see

Hate to say it but it gives them even more money and firepower to finish above us as well.

So one of our major rivals this season sells one of their best players and this is bad thing for us?
Do you think he was worth 1.5M or what ever it was they got for him? I don't so yes it does give them an advantage IMO if they use the money in the right way.

I think what the OP means is that Wigan Athletic have sold James McLean to West Bromwich Albion and he therefore thinks they may come knocking for Murphy.

Hope that helps :)
Thanks Foxy. I was just about to get on to GCHQ to see if they could crack it. :)

Pulis thinks he is. Probably on good wages too which I'd guess is part of the reason they sold him. Wigan's parachute payments are £15m this year so they've dropped about £20m from their income this season.
I'm sure they'd love Murphy but his next move has to be a higher division. If rumours are to be believed, Brighton are interested. I'd be more worried about that than Wigan and if I were the board I'd tell him forget about signing for any of our rivals, it's not going to happen.

I think it's a great deal, it's a steal, it's the deal of the fucking century.

I wouldn't say more money, it'll just help pay wages. They struggled to get 18k in prem now there in L1 expect 8k at Wigan at most 11k when we travel there

He's played in the Premier league before, he's a fully fledged Republic of Ireland international but with how much people are worth this day and age you don't think he's worth £1.5 milliono_O

If they bring a better player in for either the same or less then it will be a good deal but that proves time and time again to be very difficult to do, especially in this league, look no further than the mighty Blades for evidence of this.
