When are the activists going to turn up to chuck it in the Tyne ?

Comforting read this, from the Star. Some easy nostalgia and heart-warming affection between Morgs and Blades. Slightly unexpected interview, out of the blue, but nice or read.

I'd forgotten the difficult end to his time here, with such a difficult injury. It's strange how time can fade that a little. He was a hugely significant loss.

I'm also surprised that he's an agent now. I'd forgotten that. Seems about as far removed from a career as you'd expect him to go do, I'd expect him to think they were all vile leeches in posh suits. Still, I can see him being the agent equivalent of a inspector in a 60/70s police drama, bad cop, bashing heads together to get stuff done.

DOES THA WANNA CHUFFIN' SIGN HIM OR WET?!
I went to a dinner a few years ago where there was a Q&A with Morgs and somebody asked him what the best piece of advice he ever got was. His answer "if a club offers you a contract sign it because you don't know where the next one will come from and there might not be a next one"

I wonder if he gives the same advice to players he looks after now......
