He's 27 and experienced at Championship level, plus 50ish PL appearances, sign him up.
Yes, he doesn't have much resale value but is that even all that important for players like Mepham, Mcburnie etc?
They're players that are signed to do a job in the short to medium term, not players that we've invested in for the long term, like Burrows, Cooper etc.
Sharp was how old, 28/29?, when we signed him in 2015, could argue that he had little to no resale value back then.
16/17 season: Jake Wright signed on a free, zero resale value who was brought in to do a job, Vs O'Connell who was younger and had resale value, yet both were equally as important to our team.
Other players we signed who had little to no resale value (but did the job required): Richard Stearman, James Hanson, Leon Clarke, Wes Foderingham, Jack Robinson, Didzy, Mark Duffy.
