He had a similar blip last year with a changed team. Agree? Disagree? Discuss.

Did he? When was that?

What about the other times he’s changed the team and we’ve won? How about the times he hasn’t changed the team and we’ve lost?If we hadn’t changed the team today and still lost would you be saying he should’ve rested a few after a tough week?

This isn’t a dig at you by the way, I just think people are trying to make too much of the changed team.

Team selection seemed a bit harsh on Clark and brooks but we dont kniw if theu had knocks, needed a rest etc

Squad game nowadays especially with 3 big games in a week, if it ain't broke don't change it, surprised at team selection today but in Chris Wilder we MUST TRUST!Great start to the campaign, great football, superb memories from last week and No Boring draws, tonight we stand 3rd, and Notlob are rock bottom!

Wouldn't worry about it.

Bit pissed off we appear to have rested Brooksy for Wales. Fuck Wales. If he's knackered for that, no concern of ours. He won't play a full game for them anyway, if at all.

But Wilder will sort it. Its a loss. Teams lose at football now and again.

I'll trade where we are for where I thought we'd be at this stage of the season.

We don’t appear to have done anything for Wales. What a strange suggestion

Would have liked to see Brooks and Clarke start again but heard lion had a bit of a knock (?) and it's been a tough week - so the changes are justified. Besides why does Wilder have to justify his team selection? :)

As already said three games in 7 days, surely had to make changes. Bookings will soon start to take their toll, but there again every team gets them. Fifth booking for Coutts I think !

Brilliant last line Pommpey.

I don't blame Chris for trying to keep players fresh & sometimes rested at all. He is a smarter man than most on here about how players are performing, injured or tiring.

The only suggestion that I would make is to rest Jake Wright later in the game when we have demoralised the opposition by not letting them score and us getting well in front by playing him at the start of games. Bringing him on after conceding is a bit like shutting the door after the horse has bolted. This is certainly not a criticism of Chris, merely we may have learned an important lesson today that had not been recognised before and may help us in the future.

Should have started Clarke and Brooks and sub'd them as and when required during the game, think that Forest defenders will have breathed a sigh of relief after seeing those two dispatched to the bench,Wilder did it arse upwards today,go on you two, you have half an hour to rescue the game for us.Puzzled i am,i said puzzled not puddled :D

People are suggesting three games in six days is too much for Brooksy and he's been selected for Wales, in our two week break. I couldn't give a fat fuck about Wales, and of his selection. Good luck to him, but maybe we should have had him starting and running at what is an intrinsically shit Forest defence today. He won't get a full 90 for Wales anyway, if at all.

Unfortunate loss. But not the end of the world.

I'd have been surprised if we hadn't had any changes. Three games in 7 days must have taken the toll on some even if they were not injured. To be third exceeds our expectations especially with the injuries we have had this season. The two week break now will mean more players fuilly fit and re-charged for the next matches.

You don’t give a fuck about Wales and I bet Wilder doesn’t either.

To suggest we rested him for Wales is beyond stupid and theres no evidence for it at all. Are you just trying to find something to moan about?

Wilder could play Donald Trump & Kim Jong Un and I would not back against us getting a result.

3 games in 6 days people, a days less rest than the scabs had and you could see we looked tired in the last 20mins.
Think this justifies the changes, Lundstram had the best game I've seen him play for us will give him confidence.

squad rotation WILL pay dividends come Jan/Feb/March time.

Not quite convinced about changing the defence as much as midfield or forwards though - make a mistake at the back and you get punished at this level.
