Lots of folk struggling to deal with the cost of living now, even regular charity donations aren't as great as they were.
A great guy and cause but it's a case of priorities for many now
It’s £10 and £5😵‍💫

Wonder why Ramsdale has been asked but no mention of Henderson… 🤔

Might be because Palace play at home on the Monday and he may have been told by his club that he can't.

I am not entirely sure that having this testimonial while the season is still going on is the best idea.

BLL open if you want to know what it feels like being a away fan

Are a lot of money for some folk. For them a charity game comes behind paying bills or feeding their kids. Get real, please
Absolutely true for those ( including me ) thinking nowt of it shame on us

I know several people who arnt going now due to the shit fest going on. Id urge anyone to not let this group of bottle merchants stop you going to give a great send off to a truely great guy and team and a wonderful charity. We really need to get behind this game
Accumulated 91pts with 1 game to play. Bottle merchants.

We were promoted under Hecky with 91
Promoted with Wilder with 89
Promoted with Warnock with 90

These bottleless twats could beat all 3 and not get promoted. Wankers

The problem comes from when is the best time to have a game like this. Within the timeframe of the current season makes sense in a lot of ways as at least most of the fanbase wouldn't have jetted off on their holidays just yet. If you leave it into June/July you have fans and some players still under contract away on hols and if you leave it too late it is interrupting into pre-season

What is an AngryGinge? What does it do?

More importantly, what are we doing, United?

I'm with Large Mendonca on this - I want a credible, sentimental testimonial to a tremendous servant to the club and a chance to see some of the best squad in many years once again.
I feel like it’s turning into a bit of a pantomime

He does a lot of football YouTube content and is a decent young bloke. Can play football reasonably well. Played in the YouTube match at Wembley which sold out. He is a celebrity, same as any other celebrity that might play. Just not from the 1970s.
He will help the popularity of the event, and no reason at all to think it's making it pantomime.

Also worth considering he will likely bring eyes to the club with his inevitable Youtube video on this.

Potentially an agreement he donates some of the revenue to the charity.

Regardless, isn’t this exactly the sort of thing we should be doing for the next generation of fans?

Alright Ginge's Dad, looking forward to seeing your lad play at the Lane? 😉

But what about the people enraged that there's not proper people playing like Dennis Waterman and Bomber Graham??

I was thinking more of the Sunday league bloke with my panto comment
