I don't think Hendrie would dare turn up to play, would he?
Surely he'd get dogs abuse, or is it only me who can't stand him both from his time here and his TV punditry?
Yeah fair point, didn’t exactly cover himself in glory here and he gets the wages of two pundits by being Sue Smith too…

Is that the lesser spotted Chris Porter I see at the bottom of the poster?!

😍

In Wilder's presser this morning he said a couple of interesting things...

  • "If we can get this [machine], it'll change lives forever in South Yorkshire, and a sell out has to be the aim"
  • He said he hopes there is a game for Billy Sharp "down the line, as well"

So it looks like the kop will open for tickets eventually, which is great. I will swap mine over once that happens.

And to have another event for Billy will be class

Think you might be mistaking him for Stearman - Porter left 6 months after Bash signed (though that hasn't stopped Beattie being involved tbf)

I think it was said that a few of the players involved (who didn't play with Bash, like Beattie) are ones who didn't get a proper send-off, hopefully there might be a few more.

Be good to see others like Jake Wright and James Hanson again, pretty sure Done and Flynn were on the list on the SUFC website.

Beattie got a proper send off, away at Exeter, the silly sod!

Hopefully this is Craig Beattie we are talking about 🫣🤭

Love the way he describes it here, as a big send-off for all the players of that era who left without fanfare or after long injuries - he mentions Sharp, O'Connell and Enda but I'd put Duffy in that bracket too, sure we all thought he would be in that first Premier League squad.

I am still pissed off with Wilder with how he handled the Duffy situation 😂

Could easily fill the kop and lane end if some big names play for the sky team 🤔

Can't have thread without this

Can't count the number of times I have watched this and still do! - Still have the conversation with Leeds colleagues at work when it's brought up about the "lucky punt up field". I always correct them on how well the hold up play is and how far Bash ran to tuck that away. What I also love about the video, is the different reactions, everytime I have noticed a different Leeds fan, Blades fan and both sets of players. Like this time towards the end of the video behind Wilder there is a witch looking Leeds fan with a scarf that does a creepy clap😂
