Had a shocker yesterday. But I'm finding it difficult to get my head around the suggestions that he should be dropped, or that he's not good enough for Lg 1.

Player of season candidate for me. Has been exceptional at times. Also stubbled, with clear potential for a full beard.

Please get off his back, lads and lasses. Lots wrong with our team at the moment, but Bob ain't one of them.

Sorry but whilever Jose "I have bags of potential, all of it unfulfilled" Baxter is in the team, Harris should receive no stick whatsoever. Reckon Jose is eating Higdons portion of pies at the moment while Higgy is undergoing "treatment"

I agree I don't get why anyone would have a problem with Harris, I still say that United have the best full backs in this league with Harris and Brayford.

Coventry's first goal, Posh's winner and that chance just before HT yesterday that McEveley snuffed are reasons people might have a problem with Harris. Defensively he's been very shaky recently.

Everyone has been shaky at home but throughout the season I believe Harris has been a lot more consistent then any of the rest in the back four, the recent games with Coventry we were a man down to the foolishness of Baxter. The negative tactics in the final 10 minutes at Peterborough, I think are more reasons for the points being dropped.

He's had two or three poor games recently. That's the idea of having competition for places, other players get a chance when you play crap. We have a very good player in Freeman waiting for a run of games at full back.

I think our midfield puts too much pressure in our back 4, simple. We need more from Baxter, Coutts and Doyle, all of which are clearly good enough for league 1. Coaching team please help!

If the coaching team are responsible for the current techniques used for free kicks, throw ins and corners then I don't think they can do much with Baxter, Coutts and Doyle:
  • Baxter - over weight Prima Donna who thinks he is far too good to be playing in this division
  • Coutts - looks short of match practice due to being on the treatment table for most of the last two years
  • Doyle - much better than Montgomery but not very good at all !

He's having a poor spell defensively and has made several ricks over the last few weeks. He is one of the only players who will always make himself available and will take risks. I'd rather see him (and Brayford) be given a more attacking role. Neither of their strengths is defensive play.

I really like him and he's one of our better players this season, no doubt. There's a few mistakes creeping in though that need ironing out. If that involves dropping him for a couple of games then so be it, but I think we have bigger problems in the spine of the team.

Had a wobble last couple of games but he's had a lot to deal with letting wingers and midfieldsers through so easily.

Head up shoulders back and drop the Radio 2 gig.

I agree in general and I also appreciate that Harris rarely hides unlike to most of the team. But he has real trouble dealing with the high ball, hence the unco-ordinated swipes at the ball against Coventry and Peterborough that led to goals

The booking he picked up early against Coventry was stupid and set the tone for the match. At the risk of sounding like an apologist I think playing 8 matches in February probably has taken the edge off the team. Two away wins coming up, please
