Not as far as I'm aware, no. I just have my ratio because I'm amazing. I think you should people the credit they deserve, in honesty.

My ratio is now back on the good side after some keen posting my advice thread. I let it slip due to some inefficient posting but I'm going to make sure I remain in the club from now on. My posting may reduce unless I have something important to say, as I don't want to risk ruining my ratio.

that's the dilemma isn't it? You can keep posting replies to people saying "like" or Lol to prevent giving away unreciprocated likes, and then find your own ratio has slipped even further into the red.

That's a very beta thing to say and I'm surprised to see that you're an alpha. I imagine it might be jealousy because I'm a level above you but I'm happy to be corrected if you have another explanation.

Here's a basic guide:

Level 1: Posts: likes ratio is 2:1 or higher = you are not welcome here
Level 2: Posts > Likes = Beta member
Level 3: Posts < Likes = Alpha member
Level 4: Likes: posts ratio is 2:1 or higher = God level member
Level 5: Roberto

Most people are either level 2 or 3 posters. Level 4 posters are extremely rare but there are some of them. I was one until recently and I believe Roybgiv is another one. Level 4 posters have their own secret forum. I am currently a level 3 poster although I have been a level 4 until recently. One day I will return to the upper echelons.

Level 5 posters like Roberto meanwhile are on a whole other plain of existence and his level is something I cannot hope to compete with.
