I have to say i am finding this hard to believe, did anyone know anything about it prior to the game?? I certainly didn't these infections don't just starting and finish in 24 hours so if he plays friday he may have been rested (wishful thinking) or worse, off like St Ledger to a premier club on loan. I hope not, but no one knows what goes on behind closed doors with contract talks they might have broken down and hang bags thrown at killa going public about wanting a good deal thats normally a come and get me plea. I think even united aren't daft enough surely to let him go now they may as well have let him go in the window and bought a replacement. Maybe we were confident the deal we had would have been accepted to find killa and agent are being to greedy. Either way we need a centre half next to morgs on friday or its curtains for us and worse they'd leap frog us.
Lets hope these are just rumours but when its about players leaving united its normally true. Don't want to be down hearted the defeat last night is not the end of the world we were going to lose sometime i just like it to be to a side who played well and not us gifting goals. I have to say i'd take a defeat last night for a win friday, but i just hope its with killa back.
Last thing lets hope wendy take france home with them if we get that short again i'd rather see monty at right back we have enough middle cover or even one of our 2 left backs Naughton did ok at left back last year.

i hope he hasn't had any of the Do-Do Chesteze!!!

Mind you he probably forgot to take it "If a woman walked in!"

Or a man... Whichever his preference? :bummer:

Did you go last night? France was far from being our worst player. The Wednesday connection makes him an easy target but I thought most of the things he did were ok.

Still, it makes a change from Hendo being the target for vitriol doesn't it?

What's Naughton got to do with the price of bread?

like to have a pick on me don't you?? not sure what i,ve done in a previous life but anyway. Just stating what usually happens when its united involved. If you read the whole post i do state he may have been rested not all managers like to say there resting players for big games KB might be determined not to lose against wendy this year and knows an injury to killa might prove costly. He doesn't worry about morgs he's just hard as nails and we have cover everywhere else.

Nothing like jumping to conclusions to suit an agenda

Wait till he starts badgering you to "answer the question" David:thumbup:

Calm down :)

He's missed a game and they've said he has a chest infection, I don't know why you have to read anything into it. It's public knowledge he's stalling on a contract, it's public knowledge he may move and it's public knowledge that we've turned down bids for him. Why would we have to hide behind a facade that he's ill if he's moving on ?

Where is len anyway, thought he'd be on like a shot today after last night.

EDIT:

It's OK, I see he posted half an hour ago. Nothing after Saturday, straight on today, some things never change !

agreed yes but was also saying it could be a good move and was rested

Have a look around Jim - he's here alright..

I'm having to have a sweep of the boards and soften some hurt egos.

Someone disagreeing with you is not someone picking on you.

I've had my say about this HERE if you'd care to read... a quick shufty might just help everyone get used to this forum.

If he does have a chest infection it must have started sunday or monday.I would imagine they have him on antibiotics which can take up to 48 hours to start to take effect. That should be enough time to clear it before fridays match.
