Yep problem with the free tickets.....

We had some who must have had tourettes.....couldn't sit still for more than 30seconds without banging the seats or swearing. Some left at half time after not watching the match anyway but a few seatbangers stayed.

Even charging a quid per person may have ensured some of these little twats stayed at home on a school/skiving off night.
You can definitely see why some animals eat their young!

Don't think he's fully fit at all.

He didn't stand out at all either. From what I've seen so far of him I can't see him breaking into the team.

Needs to go out on loan and get some games.

I thought Seck looked very Claude Davis like in his defending (in a good way).
Also thought Nicky Travis showed some good first touches but his passing was a bit off.
Not sure what his name or number was but one of Chengdu's left sided players looked very tricky and good on the ball, did some 'ronaldo'esque stepovers and sways.

Looking at the pitch, it could have done without the game and Thursdays FA youth cup game being played on it IMO.

United did turn a good number of fans away last night as we expected when we saw the queue outside the ticket office as we went in.

To be honest though, they weren't really trying too hard.

There were a number of reasons for this.

Firstly, the pitch looked terrible last night. Not the best playing surface for preventing injuries. Tackles weren't flying in because people could end up getting hurt... which leads to the second point.

We were playing a team that we own. Do you think we really should go out there and try and beat them? That'd do wonders for their confidence wouldn't it? It was more of an exibition match to show the integration of the Chengdu set-up into Bramall Lane. We didn't want to injure any of their players and there were no nasty fouls... exactly what it should have been like.

Also, the team was slightly more varied than usual and the constant substitutions don't really encourage a free flowing game.

We were playing our Chinese team which the club made free for everyone to watch and some people still have reason to complain!

We were locked out but offered two tickets by a family of four who got the last two tickets but obviously all couldn't get in.

Wouldn't get on the clubs back even though it was a farce due to

1 My missus predicted 3000 so why wouldn't the club?
2 When I had an issue last season Andy Pack left his home number on my mobile to give him a call at home to sort it out, try getting that at Chelsea, Man Utd.

Whilst it was a friendly felt a bit like watching England.

Why can't we beat a team who aren't as good as u? Why are they so comforable on the ball and so happy to have it at their feet?
