Cheer up everyone, Blessin will have that elusive two years of top flight experience in a few weeks’ time 😉

So he’ll be able to take over should the current managerial wheels come right off at any point!

There could be something in this. Blessin was targeted due to the current owners lack of wealth and with plans for little investment over the next few seasons.

The current manager is the completely wrong fit for this club (we have seen all this before – footballing type manager that needs a better grade of player, without the wealth and investment to bring them in.) I like this manager and feel for him, but this is not going to end well and something will change very soon (likely to be within or just after Jan 2022).

Blessin will likely come in with his brand of high fitness/tempo style, which will suit this league and likely the players that we currently have. It will however be a costly exercise with high payments that the current owner does not have, to agree settlements with Slav and his team.

Couldn’t have summed this up better myself; I have precisely the same impression. It’s not about Slav, he’s a good, proven manager, however the combination with SUFC at this moment in time is just wrong. I’d love to see him turn it around just don’t sense the players share his vision or have the ability he needs them to have.
