Ched to Fleetwood

Not a rumour or anything, especially as it has happened, but there's an article in The Sun saying he got "paid off" £624k ... When in reality we paid up the difference in what we would have paid him and what Fleetwood will pay him.

Whatever the actual numbers, ‘‘twas always going to be this. At least he’s gone to play football. Good on him for that.

Wilder sounded incredibly pissed off that several others (no names) had not followed Cheds example on this in his RS interview yesterday. Stated they should go, to play, and the inference was that some might be choosing not to for monetary reasons.

So it appears this will not be the only time players contracts will need to get paid up !!

Only the Pigs are stupid enough to give someone a 300% pay rise. Its possible Ched did have some form of pay off to enable him to move onto Fleetwood and within their wage structure. If so thats likely to have come from the fee Fleetwood paid us.

Usual fabrication from the media when it comes to Ched Evans, someone mentions he may have had a pay off and suddenly we're arranging for him to get £15k a week at Fleetwood, as if.

The headline alone reveals the true intent behind the story " Rape Trial Star". They just won't let it go.

I didn't catch the RS interview so I'll take your word for it, but would surprise me. Bet I could even hazard a guess at some of those names...

Most surprising thing was that his contract included such a hefty promotion bonus given how little he played and contributed.

Not really about Ched - that's mostly coincidental. I was more amused by the standard of copy-proofing at the Sun that not only did they have him at the wrong club, but our most fierce rivals, despite having a very clear and unambiguous picture of him.

I'm assuming United are willing to let players go and will make up the wages to what their contracts with us would be; fair enough player doesn't lose out gets to play football and United get to save a few quid (in the world of Prem football). I assume from Wilder's comments they would all rather sit around and draw their wages and then kick start careers again after running down their contracts, it's understandably annoying if this is the case.
 



He's always been thick and this just proves it.

Must be bad if Barton's not happy then again who knows. I'm assuming Stendel dropped the charges seeing as his court appearance has died a death. Can only guess why 🤔💲
 
Gerrim in on a trial then if match fit deal for the rest of the season paid per game.

If all goes well then with a full pre-season under his belt in this team he'll be formidable in the Championship should we go down
