And what roots would they have been? Her lifelong support of the Blades? 'People like me would no doubt have called her out...'? You seem to know me better than I know myself.
Look, Ennis, Heaton and Charlie (#MeToo) Webster got their virtue-signalling in too early and have kept quiet since Ched was acquitted. Anyway, I've had enough of this 'pitchfork politics'. Jean Hatchett would be proud.
With respect, I note your difference of opinion and don't agree with it. (See? Not a 'largely bollocks' in sight.)![]()
Her success is hardly a difference of opinion though. The medals are there to back it up.
Anyway this is me done on this thread. As much as I feel for Ched with what he's been through, I've felt Ched Evans has been a divisive topic amongst fans.
As much as I'd love to see him come good, the constant going over old ground that many of us can't help doing, myself included, and the unlikelihood of him getting back to a level required for our current position and aspirations, means I sometimes think a new start for everyone may be better.
Nothing against the lad whatsoever and I genuinely hope he manages some success as a player before it's too late. I just have serious misgivings it will be at this level now.
