I've just watched him on Sky, MOTM scoring both goals for Wales in their 2-0 win.

What's all that about then?

Isn't the Wales game just about to kick off?

Actually I guess you mean the under-21s as Evans isn't in the squad, despite the Star saying he's dashed all the way to finland for the match...

Sky Sports reporter had him down as still playing for Man City.

Perhaps it was just a dream after all?

He played the full 90, looked strong as an ox but he was playing the Dog & Duck U21's so perhaps he should have looked strong and sharp.

...& possibly Ched received at least 2 passes not aimed at his adams apple or 6 yard above.

Unfortunately, he does appear to have picked up an injury - though hopefully a minor one.

John Toshack interview post-Finland game: ""We did intend to have five of the lads come up from the Under-21 game.

"But I understand Ched Evans is not able to travel because of an injury so we've called an extra four lads in."

Perhhaps Blackwell should speak to Toshack with regards to tactics
It appears they have them right for Ched !
Perhaps big John can give Blackwell a pointer ot two of how best to use Ched because at the moment he looks like he is treading water whenever he is in a Blades shirt !

Can't the same argument be applied to the reasoning behing why Billy didn't score goals for us?

The reason Billy didn't score goals for us is that he was not good enough, spent too much time on his backside and was caught offside more than any other player I have known!!!

When he played at Blackpool on 30/9/80 - Trenton Wiggan was caught offside around 25 times - i.e. once every 3-4 minutes, which must be some sort of record.

I bow to your superior Knowledge Darren, Not a lot to choose between Trenton and Billy then!
