What these surveys fail to show is the number of matches United are offering the cheapest ticket. It's ok saying we are the cheapest but when the season ticket is the most expensive in league , it suggest that very few matches are cheap and the majority are highly priced.

Take Man city. They have the cheapest season ticket in the PL but you need to ask, how many people can take up this offer.

What the BBC and these type of studies should be doing, is an average ticket price, not just a snap shot.

On this one occasion, he does have a point. To be truly representative of the value each Club provides they should take the average price into account.

Beg to differ - once you have had your cheap ticket and attended the game you spend so much on beer to numb the pain it is clearly not the cheapest day out in League 1.

It says Rotherham have the most expensive season ticket in League 1 but I think their fans will argue that they got their money back last Saturday!

i know when i went back in later they had deleted a little side column where it had stated we had the most expensive season @ £489.00
