The Prince v's Chansiri

Apparently close to 30,000 there today according to Porktalk not too shabby if true, especially being on a Sunday and on TV.
So if true you could argue Chancer knows what he is doing.
Why’s that? First game, Boxing Day and Last game- they always have some weird push to try and sell out for these, they even have countdown threads on their message boards to see how many seats are left.
Don’t see that there is a correlation between this and the work of their owner..

Been going to the Lane since 1968. Can't remember a season where we've been hit by a transfer embargo. Can't remember a season where we've started with minus 2 points. Can't remember a season where we've sold or passed on 18 players. A season where we've sold our best two players a week before season started and then were publically so humiliated that we felt so much shame.
But you can remember when the fans had to sell Blades Revival tickets to afford to buy a player? You remember Deane and Fjortoft being sold on the same day? You remember being relegated to the bottom division? How many of those 18 players that have gone have signed for a team higher than us in the league or of a similar level? It was time for most of them to go, they were ageing and just up to it any more save Baldock, McBurnie and at a stretch Egan.
Think you’re being very selective when you judge him as worst owner! (Not a massive fan either but I’d take him over McCabe, McDonald etc!)

Chansiri has definitely been more flowing with losing his cash but the Prince is much more intelligent and crafty.

I'd say both have now peaked but Chansiri will walk away much more hated and much more worse off.
I think the issue they have is that he will never walk away and they’re stuck with him for the long term!

Prince - keeps ticket prices reasonable.

Price increases:

Last season: £27-36
This season: £39-48

A 33% - 44% increase.

You do realise we charge some of the highest prices in the league.

Also this season at Hillsboro prices start from £30 not £39.

In fact prices for our match day prices for our 1st match against QPR is slightly more expensive that what they’re charging for the 1st match against Plymouth. Altho there’s should be cheaper as it’s on TV.

The Prince has been quite clever, he’s looked at their rip off prices and undercut them by roughly 10% across the board.

But that means that our are still expensive, hence why both Blades and Owls feel compelled to buy season tickets. They are charging £45 on their Kop for the Leeds game where as we’ll be charging £41 on the Kop.

Overall I’d give the Prince 6 or 7 out of 10, making his the best owner I’ve seen here.

Points deductions aside, don't you think the 18 player exodus was Wilder making the call? Not here to apologise for the Prince but he seems to be a lightening rod for everything that goes wrong for some....

Some was the natural time to move on but it's clear we wanted to keep some like Mcburnie.

Not really Princey's fault that he prefers to play his trade at the Nou Camp and Bernabau as opposed to the Championship.

Like i say he's far from perfect and has made loads of fuck ups, but I simply can't get behind this narrative that he's some evil genius who's he'll bent on fucking us over on purpose...

Wouldn't mind some kits on sale though....

I'd say most of the players sold/moved on were more than capable of decent performances in the Championship. I don't know if he's the worst owner, I just know that he's behaved like an absolute monster towards everyone I know at the club, whilst pocketing promotion money and relegation parachute payments. My final question would be, how many of the other Premiership team's owners would you swap ours with? I'd say most sane Blades fans would say every single owner was better invested, better behaved and better business minded than ours. We finished bottom of the league in more than one way. Disassociated, disinterested and devoid of any professional, business ability.

They’ve only actually been a thing since 2009. Since then loads of clubs have had one, some have had more than one including Chelsea. The Prince took a gamble & it worked.

Everyone sane knows that you’re talking bullshit. It’s all been explained often enough on here. All you need to do is look at the accounts.
Oh. You've looked at the actual club accounts now have you? And whilst you were there did you get to look at the Clown Prince's books. As I said, I can't argue with you. Firstly because EVERYONE agrees with you, secondly, 'everyone sane knows I'm talking bullshit' and finally, you're killer blow....you actually work for HMRC. For once in your life TAKE YOUR TONGUE OUT OF THE RULER'S SWEATY ARSE.

1. The company’s accounts are available at Companies House for everyone to see.

2. I haven’t worked for HMRC (or the Inland Revenue, as it then was) since 1989.

3. I’m on record on here saying I think it is time for the Prince to go.

4. If I was you I’d consider stopping now because you’re making yourself look more ridiculous with each post.

To be fair the accounts show monies into the club and monies out of the club so it would show any money leaving the club accounts to a personal account so it’s pretty easy to see…

It’s a no brainer this . The Prince of Darkness over Lord Tuna Voldemort anytime. I was at Rovrum first time the fake sheik rocked up with lads sporting tea towel headwear 😔 Billions being quoted in the press to spend . There are over 2000 princes in Suadi he’s just one of them . He’s not a bad man imo he’s just a chancer : businessman who took advantage of McCabes failings . John West is a clown who has a dislike for football fans period and failed to do what his mate in Leicester achieved. Simple request to new owners ( whenever )
Respect the badge
Respect the support
Don’t bullshit

Have you, at the same time, looked at Man City's accounts, or perhaps MPs declaration of interests. As transparent as concrete. I know it's ME and not you, who's making myself look more ridiculous with each post because you've correctly pointed out that EVERY sane Blade thinks like you. Nice argument/discussion. Let's always remember, that tonguing a Prince's ring is a death sentence in his country. I hope that doesn't befall either of us 🙏

Yep. But take a look at Man City's accounts, and whilst you're there look at MPs declaration of interests. Most money is hidden from the public, but when it comes to football money 90% is hidden

What should I look for in Man City’s accounts?

You're seriously trying to have a coherent argument, yet come out with the line "tonguing a Princes ring"...

I'm not mad, I'm impressed.

Fair play sir, that's some game your putting forward!

If anything, it being at 4PM on a Sunday probably did them a favour.

(Not a massive fan either but I’d take him over McCabe, McDonald etc!)

Though McCabe had the vision to see that a well run academy is the bedrock of a decent club.

Ploughing money into an academy is not the fans idea of good business practice though, they want the money spent on stars for the first eleven.

We have had half a billion + of outside money put into the club and were struggling to keep the under soil heating on and getting points deductions and embargos. I think even daft chansiri wouldn't have managed that.
Even bringing this up, Chansiri's done worse. He got them a bigger points deduction for the way numbers were fudged. He's taken them to the brink and threatened fans to come up with the money to pay the bills in case he won't.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Wednesday's best finish in 24 years is 6th in the Championship. And I think that's the only time they've finished in the top half of the Championship in that time.

People can dislike the Prince, they can dislike McCabe, but when it comes to shit ownership and mismanagement Wednesday have been winning for quite a while now.

I'd pick the prince all day and twice on a Sunday, big channers is one fucked up bloke and I'm glad hes a blade 😂 imagine if the prince called us customers them lot won't do owt and he'll keep rinsing them,oh yeah and Alan your still a cunt

Both owners are bat s#!t crazy and shouldn't be anywhere near big football clubs in a city that 'made' the game what it is. Wednesday pals who hate their owner, still hate their owner this season, but they'll average 28k this season regardless of league position, and that's commendable for a club with an owner that's Fckd them over constantly for 8 seasons. When Leeds were in a similar position under Bates, they were down to 20k and we were struggling to hit 15k only 10 years ago.
Fake shirts - Doubt it can be policed at any ground (few other clubs have said same as pigs). But imagine the press release has done its job and shamed people into not wearing them. Not that it'll improve genuine shirt sales. Wednesday are charging around £15 more than other Macron clubs. Which is typical of Chancer. His structure seems to be 10-15% higher than the majority for everything.
Overall I think both clubs are closer to each other in all aspects than either side will admit.
