Think.theres a fair dollop on the kop, very few in the South and John street ,there's a few in the Westfield corner .Cant see many available for new ST holders then. Only 7k available.
Agree the Sheff Wed pay massive prices headline is (like many headlines) very misleading.
The headline reports the ST price when the season starts and they quote their most expensive South stand prices.
So the report is true but hardly anyone is effected, less than 10 people will be paying £700 to sit in their South stand.
In reality when their early bird prices starts around January time you find that their Kop is about £30 more expensive than ours
but our South stand is sightly dearer than their comparable North stand. Then they have a south stand that is admittedly "rip off prices", very expensive but only people with a high income will sit in that stand, so they can afford it.
In summary at least 80% of Sheff Wed fans renew their season at the earliest opportunity. Most pay for the Kop and their North stand. The Prince has always been quite clever.....he compares their prices and like any good business man always looks to consistently slightly undercut the opposition.
Im in same boat had season tickets but not last seasonI have a friend who wanted to buy a season ticket this year but was put off by the price on the Kop. I didn't believe him when he told me what the price was, and was very surprised myself when I checked and it was true. Given the feeling around the club at the moment, and our prospects for the season (as thing stand at the moment) they're massively overpriced in my opinion.
As I renewed my as usual, mine was much better value so I never really batted an eyelid, but I feel the club have got this wrong and it's not the way to attract new supporters. My mate isn't even a new supporter, he's had a season ticket for years, just not for the last couple of seasons. There should maybe even be a price bracket for returning customers.
You think £ 500 + is cheap ?If we eventually do get taken over, and if it's an American Venture Investment group , I think cheap season tickets will be a thing of the past!
Make the most of it while you can.
Compared to pigs it is!You think £ 500 + is cheap ?
Not compared to Cov City , we always had decent pricing structure under Mr Mcabe .Compared to pigs it is!
Don't think there too bad prices for PL football every couple of yearsNot compared to Cov City , we always had decent pricing structure under Mr Mcabe .
Not anymore
It's a big initial outlay mate if your not earning big bucks and have a family & mortgage, then it's all the accessories every 2 weeks .Don't think there too bad prices for PL football every couple of years![]()
Do you think ANY premier league or championship team REALLY appreciate their fans. It's all about revenue and how much they can milk fans for. It's a big commitment, and tbh do you think we are appreciated ?
Looking at last season it appears they don't give a hoot about us
Yes Ken you are correct my friend, sad though isn't it.Do you think ANY premier league or championship team REALLY appreciate their fans. It's all about revenue and how much they can milk fans for.
That does include BLUT. 32600 seats in ground less 5600 for away fans and POTD in BLUT and BLLT leaves 27000. Of those 3100 are not sold. So about 24000 sold. That was from last week so it will be more by now.Don't think that includes the BLUT (not Corner), mate.
Probably more like 20k sold?
utb
Just over 24000 sold.Regarding STs..
How many can we usually sell, does anyone know? 24k?
We surely must have around 20k mark usual loyals.
Your figures are way out, when we have had premier league sell outs, both home and away ends sold out, the crowds were high 31,000's, away fans lasts season got about 2,750 on bottom tier, the 32,600 is now outdated we hold about 31,800. Don't ask me why cos I don't know. That does include BLUT. 32600 seats in ground less 5600 for away fans and POTD in BLUT and BLLT leaves 27000. Of those 3100 are not sold. So about 24000 sold. Yeah I've always had it as..Your figures are way out, when we have had premier league sell outs, both home and away ends sold out, the crowds were high 31,000's, away fans lasts season got about 2,750 on bottom tier, the 32,600 is now outdated we hold about 31,800. Big deal, if I'm 800 out then we had sold about 23200 as of last week. Think we lost a lot of seats to give Gary and Alex more space to spout their garbage.Your figures are way out, when we have had premier league sell outs, both home and away ends sold out, the crowds were high 31,000's, away fans lasts season got about 2,750 on bottom tier, the 32,600 is now outdated we hold about 31,800.
