We need somebody who scores more than 1 goal a season. Some strike from the lad today. 40 yard lob.
He's still one I'd sign if he's available.

Most unsurprising post of the day. Scores goal. Let’s sign him.
I can remember Colin Kazim Richards scoring a sublime effort past a keeper gone walkabout as he brilliantly looped the ball over Jaaskelainen nearly 14 years ago, and thinking at the time that there was a player that’s going to score a few Premier League goals in his time. It remains his only one to date.
I do think he can still improve and become a player at this level, but for the price we’d likely have to pay I don’t think we should really be looking at him as an option.
In fairness, if you look back over the pages in this thread you'll see I've been championing this for some time.
I wanted us to sign him in the Summer. At £11m I still think he'll turn out to be a bargain.
CKR went on to have a pretty impressive (and interesting) career in fairness to him. I think he's plying his trade over in Brazil now.
He kind of curled it in more so than looping it over. It’s at times like this that I really miss Tyler Durden..Some strike from the lad today. 40 yard lob.

Not particularly aimed at you Cap’n It’s the old ex player thing. Was always going to happen because it always does.
and finishes better.Exactly John Egan does that
Danny Ings is why.Yeah, I sometimes cringe at the "bladey-blade" type suggestions too so I understand where you're coming from.
I always thought Che was a steal at £11m, it's way below the market value for a young, proven Championship striker.
I like his attributes; pace, power, ability to play up front on his own.
I'm not sure why things haven't worked out for him at Southampton, but I don't believe that he's just not good enough.
Cool. We'll take Ings, and then they can bloody Adams.Danny Ings is why.
I've been championing signing Che Adams since last Summer when Southampton got him for just £13m, way below what his market value should have been as a young Championship striker that had just scored 25 goals in a season.
In January he was available again for roughly the same price, I thought we should have gone for him then.
Now he's starting to find his feet at this level. He's strong, quick can finish & can play on his own or in a pair. He'd have been great for us but I think the ships probably sailed now.
