But reading the posts above it seems most of the blokes are shit too. I suspect having more female presenters is as much to do with having more female viewers, and trying to attract even more than it is about box ticking. The BBC do indeed have an all-inclusive remit because they're publicly funded but all Sky care about is making money. And I think the idea that someone like Gaby Logan doesn't know as much about football as someone like Alan Biggs is risible and belongs in another age.

There are some excellent women pundits and commentators like Logan, Eleanor Oldroyd, Jacqui Oatley and then there is Kelly Cates. Lack of ability is no barrier to getting on if you have a famous dad.

BBC has a policy on having at least one woman on panel shows... So it wouldn't be a surprise if that extended elsewhere.
