Regarding Ramsdale, WBA comment was so funny 🤣

Arsenal “hold my beer, £30m for your boy Ramsdale”
I’d like to think that Prince Abdullah took the call on a Gold plated phone handed to him by a servant and said “It’s Arsenal they are dumber than the average camel tell them £32m and I’m letting them off lightly”

Catchy title

This must be the lowest key pre-season in history. 6 days to go and finally something that feels like a pre-season event. Many thanks

“The wealthy owner believes the cub can do better than Porky Wilder but it’s hard to see how, given the fact he appears to know nowt about football but plenty about accumulating wealth."

I think this is my favourite given that the Prince is known to be a huge sports fan but one of the least wealthy owners (probably the least in the Prem and I'm sure not at the top in the Championship).

Completely ass-backwards and yet we know the confidence with which it was said.

Love the comments, agree with blade 67, so much better pre season this year, knowing we won't feature in the grauniad and have a journalist who's blatantly a spurs/arsenal fanboy telling us Osbourne will be our key player this season is refreshing after 2 seasons (ok the first premier pre season was a little bit exciting)..Ben bloom and highlights on quest, bring it on 👍

I love Hull fans. It’s like that school reunion and some lad who you never spoke to or was even in his class admits while pissed he thinks your a cunt. You don’t know what to do, laugh, cry or
Kidney punch

They’ve never got over Paddy Kenny in that 3-2 match😂😂🙈

Probably just me, but I’m annoyed with the amount of people predicting WBA and Fulham both finish above us. We beat both of these to promotion in previous seasons and when you look at the teams from then and compare them now, the Fulham and West Brom squads look uncannily similar. Bournemouth look more of a threat to me.

In Fulhams case how on earth does losing 7 first team players and signing one, equate to being better than a United side that has remained the same and hopefully getting better due to players returning from injury.

With WBA you have a team that has effectively lost its creative outlet who is responsible for 37% of their goals over the past 2 seasons and they conceded more than anyone else last season, with their next creative force, sawyers, who’s ball playing skills will be more often than not bypassed because of kick and press tactics akin to the plight of Leon Britton 2010-11.

Lots of “word of the street” predictions about us, based on the inability to shake off “long ball, physical side” tag and tabloids that had already decided we would be the worst team in premier league history before the end of the season was ever in sight. In reality we finished with more points than Norwich did who conceded more than us and they have just shagged the division a new un. Brilliant work again, Cheers Roygbiv UTB!
I think we have to accept that these two and Bournemouth are the ones to fear plus a dark horse somewhere.
Fulham had several players out on loan who are now back, so they will not be weaker in this league than before.

Must be upsetting for Hull fans when they can't get tickets for Leeds and have to settle for going to the K Com. Shouldn't their main rivals be Scunthorpe or at a push Doncaster.

Well I have carefully studied them all and after some deep deliberation have come to the conclusion that they know about as much as I do,

nowt.....

I can't believe the confidence that some of our fans have

1) When do we ever bounce back ?

2) When does a nice, smart suited, well thought of, and so called right sort of manager work for us ?

3) SWFC have just been relegated to League One. When this happens we immediately follow them and stay there for even longer

I'm sure some will play the poster here, but these are the facts. I'd like us to piss the League but I'm not expecting it.

I’m not surprised that people don’t fancy our chances given the season we’ve just had. I know fuck all about the ins and outs of Barnsley and I’m expecting them to have a poor season having lost their manager and a couple of decent players, and the agricultural style of football they’re supposed to play. I’m sure their fans would take delight in telling me why I’m talking out of my arse-hole.

Hull fans are a weird lot aren't they? They barely pass as a footnote for me but they have such a hard-on for us.
I get the feeling that they have chips on their shoulders for lots of teams not just us. Always wondered if there was a way to cut it off and float it across to Holland, yes we’d have to pay them compensation but it’d be worth it

What have we ever done to Hull for them to show so much dislike, almost hatred towards us?

We're just far superior to them on every level, so why?;)

Thanks Roy

I have no idea what the other teams are up to, couldn’t care less.

Looking forward to beating them all, no idea if we will. Hopefully we’ll do enough of them to go back up!

All aboard the rollercoaster of emotions that is the Championship. Got to be better than last season’s dive into Satan’s ring piece where each game day was met with the sort of apprehension a Turkey starts to feel around St Andrew’s day.
