I'm not wanting our prices to go up but what are the average costs of going to watch our "massively' neighbours? I bet it's nearly double so 19000 is like getting, my mate's lad works in their club shop and on a Saturday on match day they gross ( good word for them) £1 million in sales not sure if that's tickets and shirts etc

Our average price is £22.
There's is about £33.

So financially it's like they are getting 30,000 gates compared to our 20,000.

However I remember Wednesday fans taking the Micky out of Leeds fans when they were only getting 22,000 gates, even though their prices were double charged at S6.

Apparently now average gates don't mean anything it's all about average revenue.

I know a few Wedneday fans and they can't stand having such poor gates whilst having their best season in 20 years. So now all they talk about is revenue. They are such an insecure fanbase and so want to be a big club hence easy to windup.

For that to happen they would have to be getting more than £50 per fan per game at 19000, baring in mind not all of those are pigs.

That'd be over £400,000 on shirts etc then on Saturday home games. That's if you assume everyone pays on the day, which they don't.

Sounds plausible (if it was on Porktalk).

Talking of attendances and crowds. , we had more atmosphere when the ground was 3 sided with a cricket pitch , than anything S6 had to offer , past or present .

Night matches on the Kop , when all standing had a magical touch to it , and to me set the benchmark for many fans.

Let them at S6 do there bit and we do ours , with ticket prices . Also you cannot buy or put a price on class , which BDTBL has along with our hard core support.

Couldn't give a shit about S6 attendances or anyone else .
