...now get this valuation agree Kev / The Prince. We need 3 or 4 more signings and we’ll be in the mix for the top 6 next year.

I would say 5 or 6 new signings needed and a bit of a clear out.

Needed:

GK - To replace the departing Blackman. Possibly Blackman again?

RCB - To assume the role Carter-Vickers did at the start of the season. Ideally someone who could play Stearman's role too and provide competition there as well.

AM - To replace Holmes and compete with Duffy. They must have pace.

ST - To replace Wilson, again, someone with pace who offers something different.

If we have any change (lol)

CB - Someone with potential. In my mind Jack O'Connell is the only CB I have complete confidence in. If we can't afford the finished article, we need the next JOC.

RM & LM - It would nice to be able to change our system - we're tied to narrow formations with our current squad.

ST - To replace Clayton Donaldson. As much as I appreciate his important goals, I don't think he's good enough.

If the 3 or 4 are Messi quality then maybe - otherwise we need 5 or 6 better than what we have already.

The more I think about it the more I think its been a perfect excuse for poor perfroances and not killing games off when we do play well.

If Wilder wants more cash to spend then he should have given the players a better kick up the arse after the Hull match and pushed us towards the play-offs. Regardless of owns the club you will get more cash to spend if you get promoted to the PL.

No matter who we sign we won't progress unless we change our mental attitude. Chris Wilder mentioned Preston being 'street wise'. This maybe the first time he has referred to this.

We are not street wise. We've shown ourselves to be a soft touch.

We have focused on playing good football and believed that everything else would fall into place after that.

We don't know how to win ugly.

If we could combine our style of play with a mental attitude displayed by Cardiff then our season would still be alive.

Who is this Coutes that's mentioned above?

Key to all of this is the ownership battle and whether it's resolved to everyone's satisfaction. If so, Wilder stays and gets a level of investment that he feels gives him the chance to compete at the top level of this division, so something beyond the the approximate £6 million that we were meant to spend this season. Before anyone states the obvious, yes, spending someone else's money is a nice party trick and unlikely to happen, unless the Prince ('cos it won't be Kev who invests the levels of money Wilder needs) shows he's serious and wants this club to compete at a higher level.

Minimum of 5 needed.

New CB,

New LWB

Goal scoring midfielder. (Duffy replacement)

Two strikers.

Whoever the manager is next season he must be made aware we need an injection of pace up top.

We'll have to replace the key players we sell before we look at plugging the gaps we currently have.

I think the PC term for this is “game management “ As a paying customer, to see teams time waste as Preston and Naarich did is very annoying

We need a dynamic duo up front, like the quality of Alan Birchenall & Mick Jones or Tony Currie & Alan Woodward

I've no idea, but all the indications were that once he came on board the Prince would be the difference between muddling along and making a serious attempt to push forward.

From all accounts Kev and the Prince don't speak that often. Perhaps those appointed by the Prince act like a conduit for the Prince's wishes, but if something as stupid as pride is the stumbling block between this present impasse and the club moving forward, then can someone please swallow their pride and enable the Blades - and that includes Chris Wilder and his team - to grasp the moment and begin signing the quality of player that we obviously need if we're to progress next season? If the Prince really does have that type of wealth then we're acting like idiots if the two owners don't do what's best for the club.

Of course this is speculative, but until there's confirmation of the owner's intentions things will only get worse.

With the finishing of the so called strikers, & naïve defending we might be struggling if he stays!

Our neighbours finishing strongly & us following the Titanic!

Forbes estimate is around £145 million.

About £50m less than King Kev?

We need to do what it took SWFC 3 years to do within the next 4 weeks and get a new investor for all these Jordan Rhodes we want to sign. Otherwise Zablade, Metal and Deano will be in the car park (shoutbox) protesting.
