I've no idea what the away kit looks like, when I can buy the home kit in XXXXXLLL, when Ched might be coming back, when my season ticket is going to arrive, how many we've sold, what price the balti pies have gone up to, when the new striker will arrive, what alloys he's got, where Harry might end up . . .

I'm a nervous fucking wreck and the seasons only 4 weeks away.

I still think that even though we are looking stronger throughout the squad, as it has been more a transfer window full of reinforcement rather than going out and bringing in big names, i still think we are short in the striking department. We know what Chris Porter can do, Jose Baxter needs someone alongside him who he can play off of, Marc McNulty is very much an unknown quantity, could get 25 goals, could be on the periphery of the squad. Nobody really knows.

I think we need another proven striker before the season starts. Chris O'Grady ticks all the boxes for me, proven track record in this division, scored plenty last season for a poor Barnsley side in the Championship and would do very well here.

That would give us enough fire power for the start of the season, but it will need improving during the season, and i think the improvement will come from Ched Evans. I make no apologies for bringing his name up as i have posted on here for a long time, not that frequently nowadays, but i think that he will resign for the Blades upon his release. It will take him 2 or 3 months to get back up to full speed, but i think that if he can get anywhere near the standard he was at before his incarceration he will score loads in this division, especially with this team we have now.
