…we haven’t got one.

Selecting Peck, Hamer & O’Hare in the middle again was suicidal from Selles.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt due to lack of alternative options, but I’m not seeing us linked with any defensive midfielders and he’s refusing to play Soumaré, so I can only conclude that the man is a simpleton.

Looks like Alex Matos is coming in to be that ball winner, if he's not going to use Soumare then surely he has to use this new lad as the ball winner.

Is he good? I’ve got to confess that I know nothing about him. It worries me how little experience we have in centre mid, and we’re bringing in another kid to perform a pivotal role in a potentially toxic environment.
Tanganga showed today what proven Championship ability can do.

I don't know anything about him personally, only that he's a ball winner but still young and inexperienced.

But having an actual ball winner has got to be better than asking Peck to do a job that he can't do.

Surely Selles is wanting DM's hence Matos coming in but why is Soumare not getting on the pitch?

He's a good prospect (only 20 years old) but still very, very raw. Great at winning the ball, not as great on it. A very similar type of player to Somare.

This is what worries me. This is a terrible situation to bring in a raw, inexperienced youngster and expect him to be the linchpin of our midfield. We’ve supposed to have got Soumare to fill that role. We need the finished article who can slot straight in and hit the ground running.

Who's the radio Sheffield guy?
He better ask why Soumare isn't playing!

These owners have been handed a prime lesson in the consequences of selling the best player in his position in the league, without having a replacement immediately lined up or already in the building.

Whether they will learn from it is another matter.

Selles - playing the slowest, shortest and most unbalanced midfield in the division a which hasn’t worked once yet
