Got know qualms with flecky and Norwood starting , but surely we need some players who can compete for Centre mid.

Not seen any players properly rumored

I’m hopeful wilder has something up his sleeves for the second loan signing (assuming this Henderson nonsense gets sorted).

We could do with some proper competition for Norwood and fleck. I think we need at least 3 CM where there wouldn’t be a drop off of one was out - not sure lundstram provides that.

Though I believe Morrison has played deeper previously?

Agreed but I wouldn’t feel fully confident with a midfield then two it will be a lot harder to dominate a midfield.

There were some rumours of a defensive midfielder weren’t there earlier? I’ve no doubt that might be useful at stages next year.

I’ve seen McNair and Fer linked.

Woods if surplus to requirements now at stoke would be an ideal addition imo.

There’s plenty of quality players in the champ who could easily play mid table premier teams they just never get the chance cause it’s not in fashion to do that.

I think Morrison has the ability and previous experience to play as a DCM, CM, RCM, LCM or ACM. It would appear that in recent seasons, he has played the deeper, play making role. I’m hoping he takes a more attacking role for us, as we need to find goals from all sources.

Quite strange that Lundstram is being dismissed as not good enough but Morrison is acceptable.

Played well tonight when he came on, I would think he had more touches of the ball, when playing, than anyone else.

Been done to death on the lunny thread but I’m not convinced he’s PL level.

In my mind had one of fleck or Norwood been injuried last year and we’d needed to rely on lundstram for say 20+ games I’m not convinced we would have finished second. I fail to see how that situation would improve a level up. We need genuine alternatives and I think his lack of pace will be exposed a level up

I don’t think Morrison is going to be a regular feature - at least until he’s got past the fitness issues that have impacted him recently.

Morrison has. That was his main position for West Ham. Played a lot deeper
