Without knowing the current bank balance of the club it’s impossible to say. Might be needed for all kinds of things.

As a quick aside, in his obsessive zeal to try and negate any positives, ITK Andy and his source, has seemingly forgotten that the set up is actually United World. Probably the excitement of another “scoop”.

What could it mean? Maybe UW get a better deal from Errera as all the teams wear their kit. Who knows, but sacked Andy doesn’t think about these things. Without creating an inter company balance there is no way he can do this. You can’t just make money disappear, it needs accounting for in some way.

So what you are suggesting, Donald, is fraudulently generating invoices and allocating them to an incorrect cost line.

Don't forget the £2million from the FA cup run. But it really means nothing without a full understanding of the level of debt due now or in the very near future. Debt isn't a problem if you can service it, it would seem, based on the embargo, we couldn't service out debt and there in lies the problem.

If that’s happening then rather than just insinuate it’s happening it would be better to have some kind of proof.

If you’re concerned that it’s happening then you should probably call the HMRC and ask them to investigate.

I have no inside knowledge but am assuming that the club, as well as having secured loans, has some form of overdraft/borrowing arrangement with its bank.
Any money received from season ticket sales or from the cup semi will go into that account. What happens then will rely on the arrangements between the club and the bank, but I would be surprised if the bank did not take some of it to reduce its exposure.

Thanks for clarifying, even if you have an overdraft as long as you operate within it’s parameters then the bank can’t restrict what you do with the money.

There’s no suggestion that other loans/financing haven’t been repaid on time unless I’ve missed something, just the transfer payments.

It’s in the interest of all parties that the club owe money to that they be allowed to continue trading as a business. Restricting cash is a sure fire way to stop this happening and administration becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Sadly I have seen banks hold on to cash and force companies to voluntarily go into administration. I am certainly not suggesting it is happening here and the scene is much calmer than it was during 2009-2015.
