I didn't say that all I read is how much Abdullah has spent,he's mortgaged players until you've paid for your house in full it's still owned by the bank and if next season goes wrong we (the club) are financially in big trouble then people i.e office staff and others lose their jobs

I didn't say you did say it. I asked a question. Which you've ignored and started waffling again.

There were personal as well as financial reasons for the decline in the clubs fortunes after our relegation a lot of the board who’d helped Kevin run the club up until that point had to step away from the club for family reasons.

The only ones who left were the long standing Simon Capper and Rockett. Steer and Green stayed put along with KMc and ower Turry. For a good few years.

Dudley left aswell as did his son from the role he held at the academy. And fuck turry Robinson what a cock

l thought Dudley was a couple of years later. Wasn’t aware of his son at the academy.
Yeah a few hung around for a while but there was family health stuff going on in the background which meant less and less time was being spent on united and ultimately culminated in stepping down once it became clear things couldn’t be juggled. Yeah their david had some sort of oversight role for the academy.

Most clubs pay for players over a period of time. Bournemouth did it with Brooks didn’t they?

So what ?
Why is it that the fans of only one football club on the planet waffle this sort of romantic bollocks ?

We've had our local two Bob millionairres waffling this bollocks and running the club for generations, and pound for pound this club is the least succesful club in world football.

They all knew about Tony Currie and God knows who else, and they all knew how to manipulate a fanbase into believing failure was actually a good thing because the clubs traditions are all about failure, and they loved to preserve traditions.

They all knew how to spin failure into something positive because they'd already worked tirelessly to brainwash our fans into accepting it.

Fuck the clubs traditions, especially this clubs traditions.

This clubs traditions stink to high heaven, they wreak of small time, punching below our weight pathetic failure, that has been allowed to carry on for the last 50 or 60 years, held back by the local two Bob millionaires, whilst other traditionally smaller clubs left our club standing about with a thumb up its arse.

The Prince might not be the richest, but he's different to what we've had before, and if he can get rid of the chip butty, fourth class citizen culture that plagues this club he'll have done at least one good thing.

And on a seperate issue McCabe is the guy who started "United world" by buying or linking clubs in the footballing hotbeds of China and Hungary
But with a lot of our fans they are pushing on an open door with spinning failure into a positive. I dont know how many times I've read (in the last few days) from fans 'programmes will be cheaper', 'I hate the PL', 'I like away days at Leyton Orient'. The board must love that mentality - feed the fans sh1t but they are still guaranteed to come to matches, buy shirts and line our pockets.

I genuinely dont think successive w*nker boards would get away with this at other clubs.
