Will be a top signing for them.

I expect us to get our money back on him (300k+). No reason we shouldn't.

I'd imagine it'd be round about that area. Good signing for them at that level.

Only read the opening line in the article when i posted this. Further down it states they reckon we are open to a loan deal.

I doubt that, I'm sure we'll shift him on, on a perm deal.

He'll do well for them in L1.

They're about to lose their best player (Ledson going to Preston) so will pretty much be the main man and everyone knows how highly Robinson rates him.

I wouldn't be too against a loan until January because if he does well, which I think he would, his value would rise.

Fair point, I wouldnt be too against us having a look at Rob Hall in return. Pretty sure I have seen in the past Wilder is a fan of Hall's too. Very talented winger, had some bad luck with injuries recently though I believe. Sounds as though Robinson is wanting to build a team around those two though.

We should get at least 250k, at least. There's a player in there and I can see him doing well.

Just wasn't to be for us.

Oxford will have a decent budget next season following their recent takeover - I'd be very surprised if they don't buy him

He will do a job for anyone in League one or two but he’s a couple of goes at Championship level now with two clubs and not been able to make that step up.

Probably the biggest disappointment in a player last season as I thought he would be a key man last season after a fine preseason but was quickly eclipsed by Duffy.

You could see a good player in him, one of the problems was the start we had and he couldn't get in, I often thought on the rare occasions he had a chance he was straining to impress and it didn't come off, its football I suppose , onwards for both parties, hope he gets his opportunity, good luck to him.

Gerrimseld.

He goes with my best wishes but he simply couldn't make the step up. Unfortunately I can't really think of a stand out game the lad had here...anyone?

He was pretty decent at the Lane for MK Dons in our promotion season. Probably part of the reason he was signed.

Why does everyone think he will 'do a job' or be outstanding in league 1 or there a player in there ? He was wank for us everytime he turned out against any opposition ,he is utter dogshit ,like Jose Baxter without being a smackrat and that's with quality players around him. He could benchwarm for Chesterfield if he gets some form back.

Remains to be seen whether the new guy Tiger has substantial resources or not. They couldn't hold on to Ledson and their first signing of the summer was a none league player.

I doubt they will pay a fee for him and be able to afford his wages so it'll be a loan or a free transfer of he goes to Oxford

They sell Ledson and get Carruthers for probably half the price. Good business from them.

We get the money to punt back into some other players.

Harsh. He looked really exciting when he first turned out for us then got injured almost straight away. From then on he took a while to get back into the team in league 1.
In the champ he started reasonably well during those early matches and didn't look completely out of place. Just so happens Duffy then stepped up and blew him away. Add to that Brooks destroying the Pigs and finishing off Leeds, he was always going to struggle to get back in.
I agree his cameos from then on were poor but he is by no means a crap footballer. Maybe just a step up too far.
