How many songs do we need in the build up to Kick Off and HT??

Limmie and Family Cookin - You Can Do Magic
John Denver - Annie's Song (PLEASE PLAY IN FULL!!)
Lynn Anderson - Rose Garden
Kci & Sunshine Band - Baby Give It Up
Simon & Garfunkel - Mrs Robinson
The Dubliners - Wild Rover
Chicory Tip - Son Of My Father
Perfecto Allstarz - Reach Up (Papa's Got a brand new bag)
Judas Priest - United
Sham 69 - If The Kids are United
Manfred Mann - Mighty Quinn

There you go... Tag Gary fucknut in this and he can thank me later

Surely also:
Da Hool - Meet her at the love parade

Classic Blades pre-match tune

I was at Ecclesfield Comp too. 92-96

Yes it was literally a handful of Blades putting up with incessant drivel from grunter "friends" but I don't remember that song in reference to anything.

I just wore my shirt with pride & the only time I remember any kind of major annoyance was after the cup semi & them singing we beat the scum 2-1.

Made it even sweeter when we surpassed them years later though :)
Me too , at Ecco just for 6th form '81-'83.

The only school that surpassed it for pork content was my previous secondary school, St Peter's at Parson Cross.

Out of 400 kids I was the only staunch Blade who had a season ticket. I can still remember the bastards waiting for me on return to school in January 1980.

Character building for sure, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

God I love United.

Yazz :- The only way is up !

Quality song which sums up our potential under CW!

At half time we should show headlines on the big screen about West Sham being investigated, and then cut to the clip of Michael Doyle doing his Cockney Walkabout to the tune of "Laughing Policeman", with all Blades joining in with the laughter.

Growing up in High Green & Chapeltown, meant I was always surrounded by pigs.

It seems to have changed quite a bit now, I would say the split is still in their favour, but whenever i'm back home these days there are more youngsters in Blades shirts & laughter in the pubs if they concede :)

Just shows what a crap selection of songs the pigs have cos I wouldn't associate that one with them either.

Other than the 'special' programme announcement I'm surprised the club hasn't announced other plans for acknowledging this game! Ex players returning, fan zone etc??

When Wednesday got relegated we once decorated the high green doctors gates in flags and balloons to greet the Salutation run bus back home.
It's daft but we were kids, that didn't stop half the bus wanting to murder us mind.
Blades will always be outnumbered up there but the ones from up that end are diehards.
