the dream of getting to the prem is swiftly followed by the nightmare , if you fail to stay up of coming back to the championship , with a wage bill thats 4 to 5 times bigger than when you left

after any club having an income of 7 and a wage bill of 7 say , before your one glory year , you end up back with an income of still 7 but a wage bill of 28 m
so even with cutting it drastically , with contract reductions when contracts end you can lose 21m , then 16 then 12 the 9 in 4 seasons say 45 -46 m loss
which has crippled some clubs

I think we have had bad luck. In Wilson's season alone, Maguire and Lowton got suspended at the same time Collins was absent due to his Dad passing, we lost a couple on the trot which cost us ultimately. The same season Evans was convicted just before the season's end, leaving us with Hoskins. I thought we were pretty unlucky that year.

That being said, the major contributing factors to our decline haven't been to do with luck:

• Signing the wrong sorts of players: older players, players on their way down and journey men. (Ugo Ehiogu, Lee Hendrie, Gary Naysmith, Barry Robson, Dave Kitson, Woolford and Hammond)
• Not having adequate cover at centre half since 2011 until now.
• Not having a consistent goal scorer since 2012 until Sharp arrived. (No player managed more than 14 goals a season between Evans and Sharp.)
• Arguably not having a convincing goalkeeper since Kenny, hopefully Moore can change this.
• Picking the wrong managers.
• Selling assets for less than they're worth and/or not replacing them. (Murphy, Maguire, Blackman, Lowton and Beattie)
• Paying championship wages to league 1 players.

I'd say it's 5% luck, and the rest is down to bad decisions from the owners, board and management. (There's plenty I've missed)

I must be very sad or pissed but I like this argument. There are two words. These constitute the name of Bryan Robson. Do you just say "two words" Bryan Robson or do you explain that there are two words and separate them showing that they are two words by putting "and" between them. Are you saying that because this is a name it should be treated as one, as an individual, but as one entity such that the forename and surname are allowed as one to constitute a "name" as opposed to words? Or do you maintain that as a name it should be divided into two words and to illustrate that it was formerly "one" but is now being described as two you now have to divide it by "and"?

Think bed may be rapidly an option!
