Yeah that's what we've been crying out for, someone that's never managed a football team in his life. This is exactly the type of coach we need to look at but we'd need a really good sporting/ football director to work with him
I can honestly see this as the type of coach we will look to bring in.
Our new owners have not bought us to be also rans, they want to make money and the only way to do that is to be successful on the field and in their ability to trade.
Regardless of our success in the play offs this summer is going to be very interesting
They have to start somewhere !!!Yeah that's what we've been crying out for, someone that's never managed a football team in his life.
Only been assistant for one adults team to boot.
Its definitely what we've been lacking![]()
And he could be the next Pep.They have to start somewhere !!!
Evening ChrisAnd he could be the next Pep.
But while we have our most successful manager of my lifetime at the helm, a manager with 4 promotions with 4 different clubs and a LMA manager of the year accolade.. i think it's slightly disrespectful to claim this young guy is EXCALY what we need, when he hasn't even had the job yet let alone done well at it anywhere.
Karl Robinson was also 29 when he started29yo.
Would he be the youngest ever manager in England?
How long has he been a prick/manager for now then?!Karl Robinson was also 29 when he started
Appreciate the sentiment mate but for as much as I love cw he's very set in his ways ,we've all seen in both times of his tenure he doesn’t seem to have a plan "B"Imagine a company has a respected, experienced CEO in his 50's who is good at his job. So good in fact that the company's end of year profits are in the top 13% of the sector. Now imagine sacking that successful CEO and getting a 29 year old in who has never held a management position before - but is young and foreign.
Makes sense.
very set in his ways
doesn’t seem to have a plan "B"
turgid footbal
Not this "No plan B" shit again.Appreciate the sentiment mate but for as much as I love cw he's very set in his ways ,we've all seen in both times of his tenure he doesn’t seem to have a plan "B"
And yes I'm one of the we need change group no matter where we end up ( not yet we need to get behind him and the team atm )
Personally I actually don't care particularly what age his replacement is so long as we get away from the turgid football we're watching atm
I may be wrong but I suspect we're likely to see the toys getting launched over the top of the kop before the end of the season
Not this "No plan B" shit again.
He's playing 2 up front now after playing 1 all season. He's played 4 at the back and 5 with over lapping centre backs.
That's up to plan D
Think you'll find the 5 at the back was quite few years ago.It took 40 odd games to find plan B then.I think people would like to see a plan B during games not after 40 odd games
