Lose 2-0. We don't have the firepower nor the necessary athleticism and that is even after I thought it was a creditable display at Boro.

Wilder will get it right sooner or later (hopefully sooner so I put us down for a 2-1 win)

Its not Wilder, its the players, and if there good enough. We wont no though for ten games ish!

2:1 Cardiff. I can see them scoring more than once and can't see us scoring more than once.

A draw would be a superb result.

Two nil to Colin's Cyrmu Cardiff Clan.

Think we may go one up top with Clarke on his own as to play the extra man in midfield.

I'm going so we'll lose. Sorry. Even if I wasnt, I fear Cardiff will have a bit too much for us, especially coming so quickly after Boro.

I'm, sadly going for a 2-0 defeat on this one. Hope l'm wrong, but don't think we have enough pace for this league. CW said that he was not happy with the 'tip tapping about, playing easy backwards or sideway passes when we could go forward (like last season). Our attacking wingback are not, and will not be able to get forward has much this season, mainly this is because they are being pushed back and not given any freedom to attack, for instance I can't see Freeman scoring loads of goal like last season.

I think (and this is my opinion) that our mindfield looked stretched at times, and were pushed back resulting in our forwards getting little support. again this is because of how Championship teams play.

I have every confidence in our defence, but if the ball keeps coming back then any defence would crack eventually. Our D looked pretty good against Borough and take out the mistake by Bash and the young keeper we would have kept a clean sheet. CW had a plane 'B' going to a stright back 4 when under pressure,

It's early days so let's see if we have learned anything from the Borough game and can give the forwards a little more support, simple facts we need more pace and a TOP playmaker in midfield. (don't think Coutts is that player)

I've had a word with Desso. He's a bit pre-occupied with his team Huddersfield at the moment. However: He says it will hinge on whether Warnock's Hooter extends further than his cold, wet nose. Then he had a thought and read some of the BIC stuff on here. He says he's doffing his collar to no-one.

3-1 to the Mighty Blades.

He says he's doffing his collar to no-one.

Pray tell, how would a dog 'doff his collar'?

Lowering the snout would just lower the neck and there would be a notable absence of doffing or even the merest hint of doffery. Even a superbly trained highly intelligent hound such as wot would be owed by you, couldn't do it.

You are talking bollocks man!*

Heart says 1-7 win but head says we'll lose 3-1 especially if it's the same side that turned up at Boro. Defensively we looked strong but we were just way too sloppy in possession. Need to get our confidence back on the ball as we can't afford to keep giving it away tonight against these with the pace they have on the counter. Also like to see a bit more creative going forward, hoofing it up to Leon is not what got us here in the first place. Coyraww

Relight Tonkin, wilder found out by Colin toneight and BRP+McCabes lack of investment whilst pocketin sell on fees (again) sets us on course for relegation.

That said we might scrape something

0-1. Cardiff batter us but can't score, we get late controversial winner. Warnock goes mental at the ref, the media, his players, his tractor...

Tell you what. I seriously belive that us losing last Saturday was one of the best things to happen to our fans this season!

It's truly reigned in expectations of fans, and rightly so in my opinion. Our objective this season has always been to finish anywhere above 22nd. After the Brentford game, there were talks of playoffs and people getting far too carried away! Nothing wrong with hoping for it, but expectations were way too high.

Home games are where we will accumulate the vast majority of our points this year. Anything from fixtures like this are a bonus.

I think we'll lose 2-0 tonight, a fairly 'comfy' win for the home side. I will point out however, that is losing tonight doesn't mean wilder isn't good enough, it doesn't mean none of our players are good enough, it just means Cardiff are better side than us. Teams are allowed to be better than us!

2:1 Cardiff, not at all confident about tonight.

Can see him having a go at the referee, turning towards the away dugout and accidentally twatting Knilly with his nose.

All hell breaks loose and Warnock is hit with a 10 match touchline ban.

This game is a classic example of the quality we are up against now. Last season our squad were head and shoulders above anyone else in League One. Whilst no one has a divine right to stay at this level, our performance last season shows we deserve to be here in the first place. The quality of Boro and Cardiff shows how we are off the top of this level though and whilst I'm hoping for a draw or better I think it'll be 2-1. We'll be comfortable against some sides this season but I don't expect Cardiff to be one of them.

We have to get used to a new feel to games too, we're used to passing teams to death and playing them off the park, we're not going to get that luxury as often this season.

My instant reaction is Cardiff to win. However my gut feeling is telling me that we will win tonight. 2-1 blades. I'll tell you tomorrow what the hangovers like from what I've been smoking...

I know....I know.

I'm sorry but I have to say it:

If this forum continues to grant me no poetic licence, I shall have no option but to take my trade elsewhere.
