The problem with any thread on parking is if somebody has a niche area to park, that not many people know about so they always get their space, they aren't going to give that information up!

That's true. I often park in a supermarket car park for free. I'm not going to tell you which one though.

Or park anywhere near the tram lines and get on one.
All this fucking about for a £3-4 saving!! Jesus Christ!!
I know this is yorkshire, but surely saving £4 and risking a fine, clamp, vandalism or even coming back to an empty space where your motor was parked, is ridiculous!?
Oh, and BnQ customers can park for free for 3hrs, so a £1:20 light bulb n the receipt on your dash allows plenty of time........................not that I condone doing that!
iv'e been doing that for years into B&Q, light bulb/receipt on the dash ;)

anybody want to buy a light bulb
got hundreds of the sodding things

Not even a Lidl clue?
Won't be Lidl. You can't get parked up there at the minute even when there isn't a match on. Half the car park has disappeared while the council are spending millions to shift a traffic bottleneck 500 yds down the road

Pay and display in the area is free after 6.30pm...

I read somewhere that Waitrose are bringing in time restrictions and installing PNR cameras soon - don't shoot the messenger!

This is in operation on Kilmer way retail park in wadsley bridge. It’s one of them grey areas, though, where urban myths come into play. Only ever pay council or police parking fines. You get a ‘penalty notice’ or ‘parking notice’. One is proper the other isn’t.

I got one from the co-op in Hillsborough about 18 months back. Didn’t respond to the letters. Eventually went away.

I’m lucky enough to know someone who lives on Alderson Road. I can leave my house at 2:30 on a Saturday and get parked

Well we drove down on Tuesday night and got parked straight away, no issues what so ever, and a 10min walk to the ground was easily done, no ropes or ice axes required.

I asked this because my friend said taking the train, its less tension. Thank you for the help.

This thread is a complete pisstake. Only an unborn wouldn’t know what they called the Sheffield Railway Station.
