Small demo in car park (maybe 100, at most). Mccabe came out, lots of people singing for Steve Coppell, Mccabe said something (couldn't hear what), crowd disperessed, seemingly appeased by what he said.

Appologies for being brief, typing on my phone

Notice that McCabe does not hide - takes guts to come out, got a lot of respect for that.

makes a change from when they used to just shut the curtains in the exec suite :p

yes - the shoes were off, it was mildly embarrassing, i didnt go to demo i just walked past to have a look at the fuss. at the time i'd have said there were maybe 30 people there?

fucking idiots. Guess it was the chavs off the kop, them 13 14 year olds that generally don't have a clue.

very embarassing

To be honest, I think it just weakens any further attempt at a protest by doing it today.

Also, the last time we protested in numbers, we ended up with Blackwell.

The more things change...

each fan has a right they have paid their money, and we are all blades the performance was better today but we still let in 4 goals 21 in 6 games and have not won in 6 games hardly promotion form is it.

why call them mongs and chavs we are blades and have a right to their say.

maybe today wasn't the day to protest i wasn't 1 of them but football is a results game and we are not winning.

They did look pitiful as I walked past coming out of the South Stand. It seemed to me that they were singing more towards the other fans leaving, desperately trying to encourage others to join them. Most folk were shaking their heads and muttering insults about them.

FWIW, United did not deserve to lose today and the negativity of these people really annoyed me.

I had one fella sat at the side of me who today:
1. Sat munching his pie whilst all around him celebrated Henderson's first goal.
2. Shouted at Morgan and I quote: 'Fcuk off Morgan, tha' a stupid c**t who dunt gi' a fcuk'
3. Clapped Cardiff's fourth goal with a smile on his face.
4. Commented 'Offside - Good' when SQuinny scored the 'goal' late on.

I think a good percentage of the 'Blades' today wanted us to lose.

The BLADES left after the Cardiff fourth were those who are sensible about this club and want Blackwell to sort us out and get us going. WE deserved the equaliser we almost got late on.

And missed three goals in the first half :D

Can't agree that we deserved a draw though, we only turned up for the last five minutes of each half, and in one of those periods we conceded two!

You should have chinned the miserable cnut.

I have to say that the apathy around the ground today was the worst I've known since the dark days of Robson. The atmosphere was dire, even when we were attacking the kop and pushing for the third (at 2-2 & 3-2). I would have loved us to have mauled those taffy cnuts and their kiddie fiddling manager, I really would. I hate that club and that bloke with a passion.

25,000, a good crowd, with not a great turn-out from Cardiff - yet no atmosphere. In the first half it was silent at times, people just waiting for us to concede so they could vent their spleen. I think the confusion over their first goal tempered the potential for problems and then we equalised.

Thought it was a good crowd & decent atmosphere all things considered. It's not easy when the team keep letting us down. Whilst we created more chances today our defending was sunday league standard. Thought Cardiff's support was very poor for a side who were 3rd (now 2nd).

I went down when mcabe came out, I wasn't involved but watching from the back of the car park, it was only a few kids and all I heard of mcabe was when he said that things will improve and things will change, fair roos to the man for having the balls to answer the questions from the few idiots who tryed to do the ringleading

I'd agree Deano, the fans were as good as you'd expect given the circumstances to me even to the extent many fans clapped the players off after the game (me included). I felt most the players were trying hard today but the fact is the results and performances we're paying good money to watch just aren't good enough at the moment. Blackwell's used every excuse under the sun to explain why we've hit a bad patch but most of his excuses leave the blame squarely at his door for me.

Time for KB to buck up his ideas and change the way we approach games or fuck off for me.

Wombwell blade:
1/ Yes, the BLADES deserved to lose today to a side who in the first half destroyed us.
2/ How can you knock the pie eater next to you when you are from "DINGLE PIE EATING LAND"?

yeah.. i've seen that before.. (more than a few times).. it means the end is nigh

Sounds about 14 from the car park and a mate of BB

Same here. I wasn't part of it, we came out the South Stand and stood and watched for a bit, saw Mccabe come out and then walked over to try and earwig, we couldn't hear him though.

Mccabe showed balls to come out and speak to the small minority of fukc monkeys who had the demo. We are all blades and we have been in a worse situation than this before so instead of having a demo maybe all that effort and vocal negativity should be used better in the ground to cheer the lads on.

It will improve, keep the faith, UTBFTW

TEN - yesterday you positively wanted United to lose so today you must be vey happy. Yesterday I positively wanted United to win today and so you expect I would be very sad. Not at all - I have seen all but 2 of United's games this season - have been negative about them from the outset and find fault with Mr B at every turn. I have played the game, I have coached the game, I have refereed the game and I have watched it and I am going to use all that experience to sum up that you don't half come up with some shit.

Rubbish! they did not destroy us! we weren't great but neither were they. 2 poor teams on show.

actually thought we were better in first half though!

atmosphere was terrible!

I actually thought overall we were the better side, which is why I think today's result should effect Blackies position either way.
While showing great fight, playing some decent stuff on the floor. Hendo and Evans looked lively with Evans really putting in a shift, the kid just needs confidence. I thought Steward did well in the 2nd half defensively, and I thought Harper had a good game.

Obviously big issues at the back and I think we need to have a chat to Killa and see what is really happening. I have a feeling he will play out of his skin against Newcastle and then have his performances drop again. I think that is where he wants to go and if he has made his mind up then lets get one of the other lads in.

out of 18 points we have got 2points!!!
I hope we lose our next game so blackwell will fuck off with his shit tatics.
I like to see football played at the lane!

I thought we knocked it about well today until we panicked when the third goal went in.

I don't think anyone is happy with the recent point return but this "hoofball" is a myth, we don't always launch it long. It is something we do when we panic but I think at times we knock it about well although typically the fans grumble if we attempt to get it down and then make the wrong choices.
