Car park protest?
Give over. We can't even get fired up for a game on match day. The Lane is like entering an anaesthetics recovery room these days, compared to the good old days of Warnock and our rise to the PL under Wilder.
The atmosphere died when we stank the place out, embarrassed ourselves, saw our own financial issues leading to a points deduction and that's left a real legacy of doubt, fear and many just going because, well, it's what we do.
The reality behind the nicely, newly painted façade.
Ironic, but the 'pashun' died only a few years ago. Really ironic.
Maybe a reason that folk with real money aren't prepared to invest in us. We're just not that 'big' a club or fan base any longer, no matter how much we want to delude ourselves otherwise.
If only we could turn the current online, social media passion and anger into match day 'pashun', that really would be something to see.
Let's hope for a new start sometime but I fear there's more pain to be gone through yet.
