Player that seems to have lost his way.

I’m not really into the risk associated with these managerial vanity projects.

They seldom work and in the grand scheme of things waste a lot of money when you tot them all up.

How much did we spend on Morrison? At PL level, a million quid on wages? What about Rodwell? He was here longer. Same again?

Here we are now debating whether we have enough loose what he to bring a loan player in to get over the line. For what they contributed, that extra 2m would have been handy now!

I suggest we leave well alone. He’s an ideal free pick up for Rangers. He’s free for one so they can probably pay him reasonable wages knowing there is no transfer fee to pay. He can still show pony around knowing the level of most teams will be below the one he’s just come from. For him, he’ll get to play in some European games which will not doubt appeal to him plus he has a 60/40 chance of picking up some medals there.

I’d far rather we sign fewer players but of proven quality than waste money on some managerial ego trip.

I’m sorry but he’s just not Sheffield material.

Hair dye, fake tan, West Street and Alice bands may be a great name for an album, but describing a Sheffield United footballer it is not.

He may be a big pretty boy swede or turnip in Norfolk but that counts for nothing here.

The new United can do better. Move on. End of.

I suspect he prefers six fingers

The exact same could be said for those demanding a striker right now. Or those demanding a couple of strikers, and someone in midfield. The kind of player we would all like would cost too much, needs to be a shoe in starter from day one, and he must meet the test for a good fit in the dressing room.

Those kinds of player are very rare, as we will discover when we get to the EPL. (too early for pre-season plans?)

I’d rather we looked at lower league prospects, like Ndiaye, or foreign players, like Anel. They’ve both been far better for us than woeful attempts to resurrect failed careers, like Rodwell and Morrison, who were a total and utter waste of time, resources and money. We would have been better off buying lottery tickets than investing in those two charlatans.

So would I, but it's not 'one size fits all'. I give you Didsy, Jake Wright and Leon. Sometimes you win with a punt and sometimes you lose, but I agree, there are bargains to be had further afield if the scouting network etc is in place.

Perfect for one of the Glasgow clubs. Can stroll around and play the big man, while taking advantage of the many tanning studios up there.

Leave well alone for me. Appears to have lost desire like quite a few players who are seen as prospects in their early 20s but by 25/26 are moving from club to club.

Rated him when I thought we were after a Duffy mk 2 but he's been on the slide and if the move to Bournemouth didn't relight his fire I'm not sure anything will

Its as if money changed them......
Theyd hate it at United!

And who was it who spunked good money on those 2

What really annoys me about incidents like this is that it could be stopped really easily. Use VAR and give him a booking for simulation.

Why would players stop going down easily when they benefit from it?

When the simulation is clearly beyond doubt, I’d ban them for three matches. It’s essentially fraud in the workplace - lying to get an innocent worker in trouble. A mistimed tackle is accidental, but cheating is a conscious decision.
