Bogle isnt going to be the make or break to whether this team will be good, I cant wait for the team to gel, because when we do well take off and one or two teams are going to get a hammering

Baldock was quality today though
Wasn't bad but infuriates me week in, week out when we slide balls through to him on the overlap and he has to take a touch every single time. It gives the defenders a chance to get back into position.
Play it first time in the 'corridor of uncertainty' between the defenders and the keeper. Tap in for a player of ours or force an own goal from a defender running back towards his own net.

If Bogle's in the team, we could move Anel to the left

Bogle and Berge (and Basham) would be more than enough right side threat

Anel could provide something on the left that we've not had since JOC, going forward he'd be like a combo of him and Maguire

I was critical of Baldock a fair bit last season, mainly for his delivery, but it wasn't terrible on Wednesday for me. I think he's played much better recently, starting with that second leg against Forest.

Think the left side will be totally different with a natural LCB there, we basically have two natural full backs trying to make it work
Let's not sell Norrington-Davies short. He's decent defensively. Loves a bit of niggle too, and every successful team needs a bit of devil. He's probably due to push someone over the advertising hoardings. He's gone a few games without doing that!

He got forward a fair bit and he's immensely fit. Clark, once he settles can be a decent defender but he's a much back up for Egan right now. Norrington-Davies will take some displacing. He's also an alternative to Lowe as well but the latter could be a player who with the right confidence shown in him can rediscover his form from last year that saw him promoted.

Can’t wait for him to come back Baldock’s delivery was shocking all night on Wednesday
Can’t agree on shocking, but he always needs that extra touch which gives the defender that crucial second to stifle him.

Gets in great positions where a first time cross would open opponents up much more often.

The problem I have with both RND and Lowe is they are both so static on the touch line, usually facing the wrong way, passively waiting in for the ball. Whereas George sets off running down the line, always giving the centre backs a good out ball. Although his end product isn’t always great, we have far more fluidity down the right, and more chances to get the ball into the box.
