Yet another one the pigs have tried to claim as their own . All this despite the fact that it was de rigeur at wedding receptions all over sheffield back in the day and both pigs and Blades sang along . It's also used before the match at wolves aswell .

All chants were started by, owned by and copyright of the Pigs. Any that we sing were copied from them and details swapped specific to the blades instead of them lot. Yes this includes GCB.

I was astonished and sooo proud when it went all round the ground.

So yes, I made up a chant and got everyone singing it.

One of my finest moments as a Blade. It's the little things in life that count, right?

two attempts from me:

1. At Pompey away, when everyone sang "you've only got one song" - they sang something else, so I started a chant of "2 songs, you've only got 2 songs", and then when they shouted summat else it was "3 songs......." - that was a nice moment and we got to 5 songs before everybody got fed up and went back to " I just can't seem to get enough of you......"

2. Today I shouted "Nil-Nil, and you fucked it up" and only my pal joined in

So its hilarious that at this stage of the season when we are normally ready for a playoff debacle or a mid table crap finish that chants are never mentioned, but with this seasons success its all about the chants on here!

So it got me thinking, can anyone on here claim to have made up a chant that has taken off?
Who started the magic hat chant for example, anyone know? (I know it was nicked off other teams but you catch my drift).

Have you ever attempted to begin a chant at a match, and how did it go?

Being a musician and songwriter of sorts, this sort of thing gets my interest.
