Like who? We only sold Berge and Ndiaye because they were heading out of contract. Other than that Ramsdale is the only significant sale we've made in the last 6-7 years. Everyone else was either released or sold at a loss.
Prior to Ramsdale our last sales of players were Che Adams, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ben Whiteman, all of whom were sold in the summer of our promotion season from League One. That summer they were splashed all over social media as the future of United and were prominently used for the kit launch with Billy Sharp. The first "Ndiaye video" faux par by the club.
I fail to see when we have ever been a safe bet for players. We're more likely to hold you back if anything.
I agree - if anything more players could / should have been sold when their stocks peaked to maximise proceeds - the management of contracts has not been great. One other you're missing from your list is Brooks, whose sale help fund additions that resulted in promotion
