Cahill in for a bargain fee???

According to various reports, including the awful Mirror, Cahill will extend the loan and then sign in January for £1.5m!!

That would be the bargain of the season, don't you agree??

Just been having a chat with Chrissy, and to be honest I think we will be paying around £5 million to get him, and I personally think it would still be a very good deal.

Can we afford that much Stuie? ... I would definately go in for Cahill and be happy if we had to pay anything up to 6million to keep him ... As for Bardsley, Im not as convinced about him as most others are but Im keeping my mind open ... I believe we need a spare fullback because Bromby isnt up 2 scratch but is he really better than Delboy? ... IMO no and I cant see him wanting to sit on the bench but if Robson sees him as better as I believe alot of Blades do then I dont have a problem with a bid to make it permanent ... Would still prefer that creative midfielder - McCabe can we have 15million for Carrick please? - Hes on my Xmas list ... Realisticly though, surely a CM comes before Bardsley in the priority list ... But then comes the same old question, WHO?!

If we want to claw ourselves out of this division to the Premiership we need to spend the cash - otherwise we face another load of years in the Championship - the rewards are there but you have to invest in players first of all - keeping Beattie number 1 target - 2 signing Gary Cahill 3 creative midfield player

Exactly ... I cant see us having a problem keeping Beattie tbh ... I know there will be clubs sniffing around but hes loved at the lane and with our recent improvements he may want to try n finish the job
