That bastard has been in prison not just here but in the states for this. It’s frankly incredible that a blind eye was being turned to such a degree for so long, and without wanting to say anything libellous the situation at Crewe and his allowed access despite concerns being raised, raises concerns that it wasn’t just Bennell that was abusing these kids.

These men are sick, and as a result should be dealt with to treat them....castration would be a start.

Bennel will be put on the nonce's wing( lnick name given by prison guards). so will probably not get the kicking he deserves!!. My father in law(r RIP) was a prison officer for 25 years. They don't have much contact with the rest of the prison population. He'll probably take his own life as he's already tried whilst he was on remand.

Anyone who watched the programme will have seen how many brave men who have lived through the stigma of child sexual exploitation found it incredibly difficult for them to come out and tell the truth. Ignoring it, not telling anyone, lying to the police and family etc

Those that came out were amazingly brave to do so.

Sorry but you couldn’t be more wrong....He will be on the nonce wing. Nowhere near regular prisoners. They will treat him like a celebrity. He will be well looked after, protected and admired by them. To abuse 100’s of kids and over so many years is something most of them will respect and admire. That’s the truth iam afraid.Its no punishment. He is a living, breathing Jimmy Saville.So many similarities.

Just watched the Dispatches program, sickening and heartbreaking in equal measure. I could barely hold it together when Mark Hazeldine's mother was describing her experience and that of her son.

The news reported last night that he is unwell and frail. Given he's done time before in the UK and US, there's no question that the rest of his time on earth will be spent in a cell.
