Following trouble at Bury's last home game to Hull, they have announced that in future away fans will be moved to the Ratio Law Stand. This means that when our game with Bury is rearranged our away allocation will be reduced from 2800 to 2200.

Is Ratio Law Denis's brother?

There's going to be 600 Blades absolutely, implacably fookin' furious they won't be able to get to Bury.

Here's Ratio

Now not only do my tickets say the wrong date and time, but also wrong stand... Collectors item.
It also says we are United, and at the moment we are anything but that!

You could try and ebay it but the real collectable these days is Barneys "season ticket" .

Collectors who've already got a unicorn a gryphon and a fridge magnet from Atlantis are now chasing it.

There must be some sort of formula which calculates the increasing probability, with each post of a new thread, of Barney's name being mentioned.

This time - a magnificent 12 posts before someone brought it back to the same old feud - and so begins the deterioration of the thread into spitting and hissing and name calling, like so many others before it.

It was only a couple of seasons ago, we had part of three sides of the ground, I'd never seen that before, we won 2-0 and were on our way to promotion......

Remember going to Gigg Lane I March 1989 when we beat them in a night match.

If ever there was a stand that said 'Bradford Fire' on it, it was the one we were in.

Quite. Ditto the away corner at Everton (constructed of highly sprung, nicely dried and seasoned railway sleepers) and the Fishwick end at Burnley. Oh, and the main stand at Carlisle.

I love an old, clacking, varnished wooden seat in a football ground. So much more satisfying on every level than the faded plastic bogseats they make us sit in just about everywhere these days. Your old school wooden clacker may trouble a bony arse, but the feeling of having loopholed your way through the Health and Safety Security State and, er, touched base with generations of supporters while doing so, make it worth it every time.
