is against a very poor Oldham side who we beat easily.
I can't see anything other than a win for Burton which would mean that we can't afford to drop any more points if we are going to catch them.
Come on Oldham, do us a favour and get something from the game please.

I've liked the OP on the grounds that it's amusing bantz.

I will withdraw if it transpires that he is being a deluded buffoon.

Oh, Westie. I can't believe you've gone and withdrawn your like already!
I don't know which I find most upsetting, the fact that you didn't give me chance to explain which it was, or the fact that you decided I was a deluded buffoon!
Had you shown a little more patience, you would know by now that it was simply a little banter.
Of course we won't catch Burton, not that I'm all that bothered anyway. My sights have long since turned to Wigan and that all-important second auto place.

I didn't know I had. Maybe I forgot to like in the first place! I was pretty sure it was bantz.

Anyway like restored, and as an apology for my thoughtlessness I have liked your response too!

The OP is either tongue in cheek, or direct from planet Zarg.

I assumed the former........
You do realise that Zarg is in the Fergassion system where they are not botthered about us and they are knownto have concerns elsewhere.
The communication is likely to have come from what is known as the laughter system and the planet Clougheon.

Both Burton and Wigan are in freefall, call it the 'Clough factor' call it what you want but I don't think we should give up just yet whilst an automatic spot is still in sight (just and only just).

I'm with Greasy on this one. If we can beat Crewe this afternoon that will be a great start to the Blades Easter campaign.

Top bantz.

Agreed Mossy.
I think it will be close but I'm going for a Blades win by an odd goal (insert pun here..........................)
I just hope if we do go one or two up we can keep it tight.
We seem to have a habit of letting teams back into games second half but I can't see lowly Crewe causing us too many problems.
Do the basics like marking up at corners and tracking back with runners and we'll be fine.

All we need is points, da da da da da.
All we need is points, da da da da da.
All we need is points, points.
Points is all we need!

Come on Harry, SHOW ME THE POINTS!
SHOW ME THE POINTS, HARRY!
SHOW...MEEEEEE...THE POINTS!

Burton were awful.

Unless they strengthen they will struggle to win a thrown in next season in the Championship.

I thought you dealt in mathematics?! We can still catch them. Make your mind up.

probability says the odds of bettering 10 other clubs from our position is tiny
if we win all our games wer can only accumulate 79 , which has never won automatic promotion
and if we lose 1 we cant catch burton if they draw 1 of their last 8 which looks do able for them

if we could get 6th on gd Id be ecstatic

Came in from work, turned the TV on and it was Nigel's post-match interview.

First question went along the lines of "Was that a good point?"

No prizes for guessing his answer.

Also had a lot of praise for "A very good Oldham side". WTF?

Do you even remember arguing pretty much the exact opposite of this some short weeks ago?

no because there wasnt only 8 games left then
I possibly argued we could get 36 more points when there were 12 games left

and before that that there were 45 points to play for when 15 games left so the possibility was greater

you will get the drift if you put your mind to it

Clough slowly poisoning a very good Hasselbaink team with his crushing negativity. A swift return to the 3rd division for Burton next season.

No, I didn't think you would, somehow!

Apparently we should not have sacked him.

I keep thinking had he stayed on there would a contract extension waiting for most of the players in our squad.

If we had anything like a decent side we'd be praying for Millwall to beat Bradford today, but it doesn't matter one iota. Or does it?

WTF indeed, Oldham were the worst side I've seen us play in a while.
