...my first stay away game in nearly 60 years!

Not a protest, just can't be arsed to turn out at the risk of being embarrassed and Clough lording it.

:(

Who cares about Clough, sod him. Gotta support the team through thin and even thinner, I totally understand you
not wanting to go tho of course......

Already decided I am not going. I will do the Saturday games left this season but fuck em, I will stay in front on the TV with a can or two rather than freezing my balls off watching a group who don't give a shite about us.

The Burton game is crucial on Tuesday. A chance for Cloughie to turn round to McCabe and give him a sly smirk if they win which I think they will. The grief that we as fans have to endure is down to the players yes but ultimately the boardroom and the level of investment in quality players.

Barnsley have now overtaken us which has to be the biggest piss take.

Thank you McCabe.

What makes you think McCabe won't boycot the game in protest?

After 33 games, all 3 promoted sides from the 4th division last season remain above us in the table, along with Barnsley who were in real danger up to Boxing Day. Yes, the season is probably already over for us, as I said about 4 games ago, but I'll be there Tuesday night as usual. HARRY - 4 pints of fine craft ale and chips 'n' curry sauce on the way to the ground to watch even a half-arsed Blades side easily beats sitting on your arse supping fizzy piss out of tins watching shite on telly mate. And no I don't have a ST so I do have a choice.

Rodley mate............as many as that? Sharp, Brayford, Edgar, maybe Adams, and of course Woolford (!) but I can't think of any others I'd be gutted to see leave.

There will still be 17,000 plus there on Tuesday.

I can't imagine Clough will 'lord' anything. He'll probably just get on with his job and quietly walk away with the 3 points.
Do you reckon.
We will beat them 2-0
There's no world beaters in that league

And banter with your pals lingsbord don't forget that. Sometimes the beer the grub and the craic is the only thing that's kept me travelling to watch them.

Well - we've scored 3 in 7 and Burton don't concede many so it'll be another blank on Tuesday.

I might have gone but I'll be working in London that day.

Clough gave me my best cup run I can remember so I'll be forever grateful for that but I'm pretty certain it'll be a blank for us - not saying they will score though. 0-0 bore draw is most likely

Doubt I'll go. Finish work at 7 and can't really be arsed though it did sound like we were unlucky today so I'm hoping we can carry on the performance. As we all deep down know though, its going to be a terrible game

That's the spirit gavlar we don't give up the fight with 13 games to go and within 4 points of six place.
There's plenty of weak bellied blades spouting tonight it's as though they want us to fail, shame on them!!!

Miserable UTD out in force tonight

The only good thing going for us is the other teams surrounding the Blades are crap. There is no help coming in the loan window so it's up to the players to play for a contract .The board have thrown in the towel so players show us what you can do,show some guts.

There seems to be a theme going on in some threads. Stay proud to keep going when things are so bad and you will appreciate it when we're good.

I nearly let it slip and questioned about my son and what I will do with him. Being a Blade for me has never been about what division we are in and I am first generation Blade in my family. It's what makes us different to the pigs.

I wonder what will happen if Clough's team hand out a convincing 3-0 defeat without any of the cautious boring defensive negative shyte that the last half a dozen managers including him have served up here

Maybe the finger will be pointed at somebody else other than the manager, who like all others before him look 20 years older in just a few months of doing this job

He's got fuck all to lord it about. He's inherited that winning side he's got there at Burton, and we've inherited what he left us. Not a patch on his dad.

The Burton game will be the final "nail" driven into our very sorry looking "coffin"
